Todays final RtR card to rate is... Dark Revenant Spoiler:
Show
5.0: First pick no matter what pack. 4.5: First pick pack 1. 4.0: I will strongly consider playing this as the only card of its color. 3.5: I feel a strong pull into this card’s color. 3.0: This card makes me want to play this color. 2.5: Several cards of this power level start to pull me to this color. 2.0: Should generally make the deck if in this color. 1.5: Decent filler. 1.0: 23rd card if you have to. 0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in. 0.0: I will never put this card into my deck (main deck or after sideboarding).
I'm curious what other people think about this one. Me, not a fan. It only ever seems to be relevant against a deck without any flyers which doesn't happen that often. At least for me it doesn't. 1 Discuss!

I'm not sure I'd ever play this guy. If he were more reasonably costed, maybe, but this has the potential to backfire, and it's 'upside' just isn't always worth that risk. He can really ruin your tempo.
0.0 - .5
Tolkein was a jerk. Seriously, what DM sends 9 Wraith Lords at a Lvl 2 party of Halflings.
The only 'correct' way to play D&D is by whatever method is making the group you have at that session, have the most fun.

I won my first RtR draft by killing this guy over and over and over again while I had additional damage sneak through on other creatures.

This. So much this. I beat a guy the same way. Like others with the same ability before it, there are just times where you do not want to be drawing this over and over.
Those who fear the darkness have never seen what the light can do.
I've seen angels fall from blinding heights. But you yourself are nothing so divine. Just next in line.

I've seen both the upside and downside to the redraw ability, and I would say they roughly cancel each other out. Leaving you with a vanilla 2/2 flyer for 4 in a set and color without a lot of flyers. Which is somewhere in the 1.5 range.

Very tough card to rate but generally I feel bad if it is in my deck so I guess that makes it 1.

LSV had this one at 2.0 in his set review, I wonder how he'd rank it now.

Combined with the Lich Lord and Death's Presence it might have viability... but then you'd be relying on too many rares for that specific Combo to go off.
Yeah, I'd go for a 0.5-1.
