I've been running both of them in my GM deck since the begining, and I've really come to love this card.  Aside from being a great removal spell, with quirky side effects, it doubles as a way of getting something from a bad trade.  True to it's name, and never dull.

I was wondering if anyone has some crazy chaos warp antics they'd like to share, or any combos they've discovered.

I've seen some good plays with it, resolting in losing a powerful creature from combat. To trading a land for a land (lawls).

It sounds like at first it's horrible card. But it can really be a life saver when push comes to shove. Or in multiplayer battles. Grinning malice really is one of the most powerful multiplayer decks.

I love Chaos Warp . It's so versatile and a lot of fun to play with. I usually don't like to play cards that have such a random outcome but have to make an exception here.

I'm a fan, ever since the first time I cast it on one of my creatures with an opponent's Mind Control on it. My creature gets shuffled, Mind Control goes away, and I (possibly) get a new thing.

That's a clever use! I would've thought to hit the Mind Control , but hitting your own creature is much slicker.

I kinda see this card as on par with Beast Within - it's not always 100% to your advantage, but usually the drawbacks are totally worth it. And yeah, its unpredictability definitely keeps things fun.

I like Chaos Warp a lot.  I used it to get rid of Beastmaster Ascension once and my opponent pulled a land in trade.  I don't remember if I even won or not (don't think I did) but I didn't care; I was just happy to see the randomness turn up in my favor.

I use it because it's the only way to essentially remove an enchantment or artifact from play. If I know the deck I'm playing against doesn't have any enchantments or artifacts or don't play any that are game breakers, I will use it liberally. One of my favorite uses is to target one of my creatures that is eating removal. More often than not, I will save my creature and replace it with another.

I don't remember any of my plays with it at the time, but I do recall playing against GM with SS. I played a pernicious deed and my opponent warps it away only to be facing a Pelaka Wurm. Whats even better is that I not only had the other copy of the wurm in my hand, but I also had the othe copy of the deed too. And a few turns later I drew the deed that was shuffled into my deck.

Needless to say, it doesn't always work in your favor, but it's still fun none of the less.

I think it's a pretty good card.. I run them both.  The deck is at its best playing cards every turn in the beginning, so I don't have a problem letting it sit while I play other stuff and then save it for when I *really* need it to answer something that's imminent, unanswered danger.  At that point, I'll take a gamble of maybe going from bad to worse if there's an (arguably stronger) chance of going from bad to good.  Since it hits anything, it's a pretty versatile last chance turnaround.
