Centaur Healer is 100% fine in Mainboard. Its a 3 mana 3/3 that helps you against aggro decks (which is most of them). If they are wasting a Mizzium Mortars on my Centaur Healer, I am very happy. The speedbump is very nice. It also is nicer with Resto Angel imo
I don't like Armada Wurm. Its neat, but meh. I'd rather have Wolfir Silverheart instead, as it is more flexible and pumps up any mana dudes you have in play (T1 land elf, T2 Land Farseek Elf, T3 Land Silverheart pump an Elf and swing with it isn't a bad line)

I'm with you Jman. I like Wolfir Silverheart. WSH is 12 damage for 5CC, AW is only 10 for 6CC. If you're running 4 Rancor's (like you should be) the trample does not even factor into the discussion. If you want to post your deck list feel free.

Did people just stop running instant speed removal? Because WSH is significantly worse on that count. And it's not like they're mutually exclusive or anything. If you're going to run midrange, you should have both 5- and 6-drops.

go ahead and play WSH but a single removal spell completely negates him, not so with sigarda or armada. ive tested all and he is the weakest by quite a bit, there is more to a good creature than P/T.

If they did WSH would be the clear cut winner! I still think the WSH has the slight edge on the Wurm.
Edit: I think the Sigarda has far more upside thatn the Wurm. I do hear what you are saying about the WSH though.
Here's another question. Do you guys thing the WSH gains any value when running double strikers to pair it with in the deck? Basically does the increased damage effiency of a double striker pair make up for any amout of the WSH weakness to removal since they have to have the mana and removal spell on the turn you cast the WSH to avoid trouble?

Well, here's my current iteration of my decklist. After this past weekend I shifted some of the mainboard fat to sideboard (2 Sigarda and a Silverheart) as a mostly meta decsision. Dryad Militant is very soild against Reanimator decks, and its just nice to have it mainboard. 4 Dryad Militant 4 Avacyn's Pilgrim 2 Arbor Elf 3 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben 2 Elite Inquisitor (meta decision against Zombies) 2 Precinct Captain (this is something I just want to try out, generally Farseek) 2 Selesnya Charm 3 Borderland Ranger 3 Centaur Healer 1 Ajani, Caller of the Pride (on the cutting board, giving it one more chance) 4 Restoration Angel 3 Thragtusk 1 Collective Blessing (THE MOST BACKBREAKING PLAY EVARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111!!!) 4 Gavony Township 4 Sunpetal Grove 4 Temple Garden 1 Mountain 1 Grove of the Guardian (only ever used it once, but it hasn't hurt my mana to keep it in) 6 Plains 6 Forest Sideboard: 2 Sigarda, Host of Herons 1 Wolfir Silverheart 2 Fiend Hunter 1 Rest in Peace 1 Purify the Grave 1 Erase 2 Rootborn Defenses (Bonfire tech, pre-RTR it was Safe Passage) 1 Erase 1 Slayer of the Wicked (its okay against Zombies, probably going to be changed though) 1 Erase 2 Ulvenwald Tracker (I like them, but finding a good time to side them in is hard) 2 Daybreak Ranger (woo mono-mountain!) Township and Collective Blessing turn your mana durdles into monsters, and then you have the option of playing more monsters. The deck doesn't even really need Temple Garden, if you are on a budget, but then you might need to cut some of the WW dudes. Wish we had Green Sun's Zenith right now. It'd be very very nice to have. Did people just stop running instant speed removal? Because WSH is significantly worse on that count. And it's not like they're mutually exclusive or anything. If you're going to run midrange, you should have both 5- and 6-drops.
Some number of which are Thragtusk, obviously. Also, there's very little spot removal seeing play right now. I'm ready for Gatecrash so I can play Black heavy control decks.

Do you really feel like you need all that mana fixing? 6 dorks and 5 ways to fetch(with farseeks) seems like alot of cards to devote to mana. Although seeing as 9 of them have bodies I guess when you drop the collective blessing they suddenly are win cons.

Well, Gavony Township is really good there. I haven't been able to play with this current build at a FNM/tourney/etc. but the large number of mana dorks has yet to let me down, other than the T1 Elf, T2 Elf Elf Township and then they played a Miracled bonfire for 1. Borderland Ranger is mostly for the warm body that provides smoother mana, but Farseek was really nice the times I used it. I want that land from the original Ravnica that gave me a 1/1 for 4 mana. That with Blessings would be soooo nice.
Also, I just noticed that my singleton SB Erase is listed three times. Whoops.

Fun fact: the Eskimo word for aggro literally translates into "worse zombies".
1000th post November 26, 2010. Where Islands gets his decks: Spoiler:
Show
It was revealed to me in a dream. All the cards were in my dream except for three slots which I plugged in as Vault Skirge.
FULL DISCLOSURE: The dream was post AVR so there was a copy of Slayer's Stronghold. I decided to keep it pre AVR in my post here.
EDIT: I just remembered. The Skirges might have been 2x Whipflare and 1x something else, probably War and Peace.
EDIT2: Currently 4-0 in my first four games with this. My opponents have been very angry. I fought off a Wurmcoil from Grixis for six turns before I found my second Dispatch. Jeez, I can do a lot of damage.
EDIT3: Streak broken. Lost to an unexpected Overrun. Cracking a Shrine for 10 wasn't enough.
How Kedi tests his decks: Spoiler:

also, I've been playtesting this deck in my sleep today that kinda freaked me out

SO...
I played with Precinct Captain last night. It was only good in one game, against a control deck, where it forced them to wrath my board of an Avacyn's Pilgrim, Precinct Captain, and 3 1/1 tokens. 2 Power isn't nearly as big as I thought it was before. Also, Trostani is just as amazing as I thought she was when she was 5 dollars. Five toughness is sooooo much. Ended up 3-1, losing to Bonfire of the Damned (R/B zombies was the deck, but he only won because of Bonfire), nearly losing to a G/W populate deck (because of Trostani alone brickwalling a huge number of my plays) and beat a Naya deck and a jank noob deck to round it out.
If it weren't such a pain to hit 6 mana without being killed first, I would be playing more Collective Blessing.
Moral of this story: If you want to play aggro, your best bet is to go Zombies. If you want to dodge the zombie hate, UW humans is a good choice.
