The ultimate on Jace still requires one of you to be playing something that can kill them outside combat, and Tamiyo's ultimate requires that you play some kind of burn or counterspells. Also, Turbofog will be playing their own Jace and Tamiyo. So you have to be able to counter any they try to play while yours are ticking up.
Liliana of the Veil could work. It can kill off Elocutors because they'll be creature light, it gets stuff out of their hand, and her ultimate gets rid of either protection or threats.
Or....you know....Thought Scour? I hear getting fireballed for your deck is good enough.

This is irrelevent to current standard, but I got milled out in a control mirror with Tamiyo emblem + Surgical Extraction. Lol.

Something reasonably foggy could come out of Sphere of Safety . Card looks janky at first, but it really hoses decks that rely on a lot of efficient, swingy creatures (Pretty much everything right now). Detention Sphere for UW or Oblivion Ring for GW planeswalker/threat answers, or just go Bant. Fogs/ Inaction Injunction into O-Ring/D-Sphere into Martial Law / Supreme Verdict into Sphere of Safety is not a place I want to be in as an beatdown deck. Of course, Golgari Charm pretty much hoses that.
Standard Pauper! (play it on MTGO)

Turbofog requires consistent draw power in the form of something you dont have to dump resources into every turn. Although there are enough fog effect to run the deck, Otherworld Atlas isn't gonna handle the draw power by itself.

I tried building the deck to take to states.
The problem is there's enough Fog in standard, but not enough Turbo. We need either Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, or Rites of Flourishing (or copycats) reprinted to make it a thing.

I feel Turbofog is a risk. There are enough decks that have enough DD that Fogging won't protect you. It'll shut down the GW and WU attack strategies, sure, but between Zombies and other Red strategies, you're probably not going to make it, especially after sideboarding.
