D&D rules were never meant to exist without the presence of a DM. RAW is a lie.

Underworld Connections. It's definitely worth maindecking enchantment removal in this set, especially if you get something else with it (e.g. Keening Apparition, Sundering Growth).

The Connection is made.
PS, were you guys seriously considering the dragon in the last pick? I like to be able to cast my spells. For me that pick was between Stab Wound & Annihilating Fire. Dragon was kinda LOL.
Not only is Ravnica Ramp friendly, but it is completely possible to build a deck that lasts until turn 11 or 12 to lay down a haymaker. WHen you consider the options for dealing with the dragon (Guildcharm...Expensive black removal), 90% of the time it just say "You Win".
I'm willing to slow down my deck to play cards that say "You Win". I'm not unhappy with the Stab Wound pick though, still a very good card.

You don't think the advantage Connections provides trumps the advantage and card selestion Grisly Salvage provides? Salvage might hit a single Scavenge creature if you're lucky and net you the best card out of the five.
The problem with Connections I believe is that, assuming you play it optimally on turn 4, it starts as a card that says pay one life draw a card, which by itself would obviously be terrible. Thereafter it says pay one life, draw a card, which is obviously significantly better. The fact it costs you one mana a turn makes it, in my opinion, much worse than Phyrexian Arena and there are some decks where I wouldn't even play the Arena.
Activate it during the end phase. Card advantage for that cheap is better than anything else in that pack. It's playable at any point in the game.

Launch Party. I like the crew, but removal's pretty scarce in limited. I also like that it's black and we have card advantage and removal in 3 picks.

Launch party
Tolkein was a jerk. Seriously, what DM sends 9 Wraith Lords at a Lvl 2 party of Halflings.
The only 'correct' way to play D&D is by whatever method is making the group you have at that session, have the most fun.

Suer, Launch Party works well in Golgari scavenge decks.
