Hello, if Gleancrawler  is sent to the graveyard for any reason, does it return itself to the person's hand afterwards? Or does it only apply to other creatures?

It has to be on the battlefield at the start of your end step for it to trigger. If it is killed after its trigger goes on the stack it will return itself. If its killed at any other time, it won't.
