If I lose life from Geralf's Messenger or Blood Artist does that make me remove counters off my Azor's Elocutors?

no, lifeloss is not damage

damage generally causes lifeloss, but they are not interchangeable

Yes, if a player takes damage, they lose life exept in the cases of infect and poisonous.

They still lose life to poisonous. Infect is the only kind of damage that doesn't cause life loss.

They would also not lose life if they had out Platinum Emperion
