Anyone else uses these plastic folders for their MTG cards (storage/display purposes)? I do and use a good quality type with thick plastic. I put a max of 2 cards in each pocket (so as to use both sides of the 9 card page sleeve for displaying my cards). However the cards I have inside always manage to edge their way out of their pocket. They never get fully out of the pocket but I'm sure they would if I were to turn my file upside down and shake it a bit.
Anyone has any solutions to this issue?

If you put them in penny sleeves they'll be thicker and probably have a little more friction, it will also protect them if they happen to slip out a little. The nice thing about this is that it protects them when you take them out and trade them to. I sometimes put cards in penny sleeves top first and then slide the card into a pocket bottom first, that way I can grab the top of a card and pull it out without smudging it or anything. People will also feel more confident trading with you if you have your cards in sleeves.

Nice trick, thanks! I'll go out and get some of these penny sleeves then. I guess they cost a penny each, right?

Yeah, the stores I go to all sell them for a $1/100s each. I actually prefer them to some of the "quality" sleeves, well, at least UltraPro.

I just got a pack of 100 'Pro-Fit' transparent sleeves. They fit like a glove around the card with no room for it to move about. I was hesitating between this type of sleeve I bought vs. a cheaper sleeve but which is a bit larger and not a 'perfect fit'.
I'm now in the process of sleeving up my foils and testing their range of motion in the 9 pocket page. Will see how it goes!

I love the pro-fit sleeves, but they are very slippery. Not sure how they will work for this application. I don't have the problem the OP is describing (but then again, I store 5 copies of each card in each pocket).
