Can OD even win in 6 turns without a turn two Shade? or a turn two medallion turn three liliana shade with a spitter?
I think a Nantucket can win turn 5
Turn three does 5 damage... Turn 4 does 6 damage, turn 5 does 7 damage....with a turn one spitter it can win in 5...
The game was basically this: he played the Nantucket on round 2, I bounced it when he was about to attack on turn 3, and then he played it again, hit me on turn 4, 5 and 6 for 6,7 and 8 damage. I was stuck with 2 lands and couldn't do anything.
Save for this problem the games were a lot of fun though. The first one was pretty cool as he got to put some of my best goblins in play under his control (Krenko and the one that can sac goblin tokens for 2 damage), so it ended up being a bit goblins vs goblins.
Did you let him pump the creature first on turn three? If not you made a mistake as if you did he can't cast it until turn 4 and then it has summoning sickness. Turn 5 with 5 swamps it swings for 7, turn 6 with six swamps it swings for 8 and turn 7 it swings for 9 to end the game. Unless he had a turn one spitter out there the whole game it should have gone to 7....that is assuming you bounced the creature before he pumped it....
But either way, without land, you were going to die

Logan and I had our matches tonight. I won 3 -0. Game 1: Me BoF, him CM I started the game with Flamebreak  and Earthquake  in my hand, so I felt pretty good going in. He got out to a good start and was attacking while I was slinging Searing Spear  s to his face while waiting for him to build up more guys for me to sweep. Since my sweepers damaged me too, we were both close in life total. I thought I had him when I played Furnace of Rath  and Lightning Bolt  when he was down to 6 life, but he paused and played Swords to Plowshares  on one of his own guys to gain some life and stay alive. I only had a land in hand and no other cards at this point, and drew only land on my next 2 draws, while he was swininging with his 1/1. He got me down to 1 life, when I drew Sulfuric Vortex  for the win. Game 2: Me GM, him PI I got off to a quick start with Vexing Devil  , Goblin Deathraiders  , Hissing Iguanar  , and Blightning  . He had a turn 4 Dungrove Elder  , and then some other big guys which slowed me down. I was able to amass enough guys though to swing for the win, with the creature deaths causing the Iguanar to do the last bits of damage. Game 3: Me CM, him CL I think the only creatures he got down were 2x Serra Ascendant  and 1 Soul Warden  . He couldn't remove my turn 4 Hero of Bladehold  and turn 5 leige, so it just got out of hand for him fast. Thanks for the games, Logan.

I don't really remember the details, but I think he might not have pumped it because he was thinking of casting another spell or that I had a bounce in my hand.

I would have thought play all 5 myself, then the same amount of points are awarded for every match up. case in point, in most of the ones played, it has been 3-0, but in one, the loser has walked away with two as well. This is punishing people without giving them a chance to earn a little if they have 3 bad matches in a row, as opposed to those who scrape a single win in round three, but still lose the match in total.
EDIT: Only other way to balance it is to only award the points to the winners.

Yeah. I assumed that only the winner would get the points. That's why Logan and I stopped after the third match.

My husband has been playing Mass Effect 3 a lot. He told me you sent a message though, next time you see "me" online, send a message and if he's playing ME3 he'll come get me. Tonight is good for me, he has to work and I don't so I should be free.
