Why don't we post random two-colored cards that simply combine two effects and that haven't been printed yet? Perilous Obsession -   InstantTarget creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn and must block this turn if able. Perilous Attraction -  InstantTarget creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn and must attack this turn if able.

Come on, when our simple + boring cards become printed someday, we're going to have so much fun swamping the FCSS forum and spamming the related ICD threads, quarelling endlessly which YMTC user "invented" the card first!

Enemy Pairs
Punish   Instant ~deals 4 damage to target tapped creature. Evict  Instant Exile target creature. You lose life equal to its power. Absorb  Instant Exile any number of land cards from your graveyard, then put that many +1/+1 counters on target creature you control. Twin  Sorcery Search your library for a creature card with the same name as a creature you control, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library. Ingenius Instant ~ deals damage to target creature or player equal to the number of cards you have drawn this turn. Ally Pairs Isolate Instant Remove target attacking creature from combat. It doesn't untap during its controllers next untap step. Bargain Sorcery Reveal your hand to target player. That player choses any number of cards in your hand. Discard the chosen cards, then draw that many cards. Backlash Instant ~ deals damage to target creature equal to the amount of life you have lost this turn. Savagery Enchantment - Aura Enchanted creature gains +1/+1, Trample, and "this creature attacks each turn if able." Commune Sorcery Put a 2/2 green wolf creature token onto the battlefield under your control, then gain 1 life for each creature you control.

People already do that. Kevin thinks that every other card he has ever made has been copied by Wizards. Other designers have more reasonable perspectives. I think Imi and Rush have made some eerily similar cards to ones that have been printed. I actually designed Black Lotus, back in 1990, when I was roughly a couple weeks old.
