Todays random card is...

Sabertooth Nishoba

I used to love this guy back in the day.  He was back, trampled and had protection from 2 colors.  Granted pro black would've been nice but oh well.  I still think this is a good card even today.

Why didn't they just print him as a cat? Also, six mana? Granted, I'm probably using a spellshaper and Life // Death anyway, but still, six mana?

Clever deduction Watson! Maybe you can explain why Supergirl is trying to kill me.

Seems solid, even by today's standards.

I'd say it's outclassed by stuff like Sigarda, Host of Herons , the protection is going to most often be relevant as a shroud effect rather than a combat ability against I'm guessing.

Oh, it's absolutely outclassed by a lot of cards. But I wouldn't be disappointed if it were to get reprinted in a set down the line.

I'd rather see Enlisted Wurm honestly. For a rare this is a pretty boring card. Everybody* dislikes protection, and a multicolored below the curve vanilla with a combat ability tacked on is pretty bland. It might be fine if it got the Serra Angel treatment* though.

I love protection that is not protection from colors, because I am anti-really-strong-colorhate

All cards should be common

I got one of these and for a lot of time it was my strongest and favourite creature. I played him in a modified version of an Invasion 5 color pre-made deck, and it owned. Back then my 13 years old self thought it had the most badass art ever.

Okay, here is the clincher. I've been waiting to say this.

The "cam girl" this was inspired by was just a girl from a social networking website, Stickam. Her name was TinyTerror and she was just a regular girl who was on her webcam, totally unrelated to any type of adult content.

I hope you all feel really smart now.

This is like someone coming into class with a bloody nose and everyone's like "Jeez what happened to you" and they're like "I ran into a wall" and everyone laughs at them for being an idiot but then at the end of the class they say "HAHA JUST KIDDING I PUNCHED MYSELF IN THE FACE!!!!!! TALK ABOUT OWNED HAHAHAHAHA"

I really enjoy imagining this from Kevin's perspective. Because in Kevin's world, Rosewater actually reads everything he types. Mark is sitting there right now, reading this, and thinking "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled. . ." Or some such. He chuckles low, then clicks on "The Best Of KEVINSET" and says "Yes, this'll do just fine. A busty lady with banding who deals direct damage to Zones!? Why this will be the star of my next set, and no one will ever believe you Kevin." Then he closes his Macbook, so his servant may move it out of the way, while another servant puts a Fetal Richard Garfield Clone lathered in Steak Sauce in front of him. Then Mark Feasts.

Sorin walked into the chamber where his newly wed bride, Vampy, awaited. A beam of moonlight illuminated his brilliant silver hair as he strode with confidence towards the bed. His shirtless body showcased his powerful abdominal muscles and he was wearing jeans with holes in the knees.

I like it.  I'm not sure it's worthy of a rare slot by current standards, but it'd make a great uncommon.

He's decent, I seen people playing them when it was in standard.
