i haven't held a contest for almost two days -- it feels weird

Criteria = A card about sleep.
I'm very tired and honestly have no idea how I'm going to stay awake at work today.  This is gonna be rough.
I want designs in one way or another dealing with sleep.  Lock-down cards like Coma Veil , Glimmerdust Nap , Narcolepsy , Paralyzing Grasp , and Sleeping Potion are a little too on-the-nose (plus, there're are WAY too many of those cards anyway).
Be creative with your sleepy design.

Contest will run for 24 hours.
Hopefully I'll be more alert this time tomorrow

Insomnia

Enchantment-Aura
Enchant Creature
Insomnia comes into play with 3 sleep counters on it.
Enchanted creature doesn't untap during its controller's untap step.
Remove a sleep counter from Insomnia: Untap enchanted creature.  Only enchanted creature's controller may play this ability.

And before everyone says it, yes, I'm well aware there's probably another card named Insomnia.  Consider that name a placeholder.  :P

Sometimes I imagine what Cisnero's life must be like. I imagine cargo pants - every pocket stuffed with coins. I imagine him (I almost said "him or her" but then I decided his gender with through the randomization of a small metal disk) - I imagine him, shopping, purchasing food, choosing which spot to park in, all through this meticulous flipping process. I imagine him asking a girl out, taking her to have a drink or whatever and then asking if she wants to play this fun game. When she responds "Sure." he removes a single quarter from one of his jingling pockets. Then proceeds to flip it repeatedly while she calls it - until she is able to make up an excuse to leave. Will he respond to this post? Only if the Chaotic Gods of Copper and Nickel deem it so. Someday many years from now, in the Dystopian future world, I'll ride my Billy Idol Unicycle past a bedraggled slumbub - He'll be clad in armor made all of the (now worthless) coins of yesterdecade. He'll grin a shiny grin at me as he flips another coin - and I'll know who it was. How could I not?

I'll go with a johnny card.

Nitrous Oxide Emanations
Enchantment
When Nitrous Oxide Emanations enters the battlefield, untap all permanents.
Permanents don't untap during their controllers' untap steps.
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player taps half of his or her permanents, rounded up.
At the end of each player's turn, if all permanents are tapped, the game is a draw.
"Everything, asleep!"

Narcoleptic Monstrosity
Creature - Horror
Narcoleptic Monstrosity enters the battlefield tapped.
Narcoleptic Monstrosity doesn't untap during your untap step.
Tap a creature you control: untap Narcoleptic Monstrosity. Activate this ability only once each turn.
5/5
Able to swallow three soldiers whole, it would wake up screaming from dreams of sleeping children and closet doors.

Perfect originality is overrated and often ugly. The best and most beautiful cards I've ever seen were clearly inspired by something else.

Cards are not entirely unlike living organisms in this regard. All the good ones are a result of long evolution; the 'original' ones are either monocellular or mutant aberrations.

Living Nightmare --
Legendary Creature - Nightmare Elemental (R)

Living Nightmare's power and toughness are each equal to the amount of tapped permanents on the battlefield.
Each player plays with the top card of his or her library revealed.
At the beginning of each players upkeep, that player loses life equal to the amount of permanents they control that shares a color with his or her revealed card.

Rejuvenaring Sleep
Sorcery
Destroy each auras controlled by opponents enchanting creatures you control, and remove all -1/-1 counters on creatures you control.

If you're using Nitrous Oxide to fall asleep, you're using it incorrectly.

Dreamghast

Creature-Spirit
Flying
If it's an opponent's turn and they took the last turn, you may cast Dreamghast without paying its mana cost and as though it had flash.
If a player would take an extra turn, instead you take that turn.

I thought it made you fall asleep after a long time exposure.  You have other suggestions?
