So I just made a deck based off of the enchantment "Parallel Thoughts," and I would just like some opinions on it and its play strategy. Ok, so the deck list is below, but the strategy requires a little bit of explanation. I've never made a deck to work this way before, but it should be pretty awesome. So the deck is basically built around the card "Parallel Thoughts." It's an enchantment, and when you play it you go through your deck, pick 7 cards, and exhile them face down. Then, whenever you draw a card you can choose to draw from the exhiled pile instead. So the way it's suppossed to work is when you play the first one and choose your 7 cards, you pick the other 3 "Parallel Thoughts" and then 4 other cards. Then for the rest of your draws you pull from the exhiled pile until you have all 4 of the "Parallel Thoughts" in play. For each one of them you get to exhile a different set of 7 cards, in a separate pile. So you can have one pile be all lands, one pile be all counter spells, and one pile be all creatures. Then every single turn, when you draw your card, you can pull a card from each of the 4 piles, this makes sure that you get a land, a counter spell, a creature, and whatever other card you chose every single turn. And if you are going to have too many cards in your hand to pull all 4, then you just pull whatever ones are going to help you the most, but you'll still know what type of cards youre getting. Another cool thing is that if your actual deck is starting to run too low, you can still choose to pull a card from the exhiled stack, even if there aren't any cards in it, which basically allows you to skip your draw step (I looked up the rules on this and its legit). I also have the creature "Ludevic's Test Subject" in the deck. He is a 1/1 creature, that you can pay 2 and put a counter on him. Once he has 5 counters, then he flips and becomes a 13/13! To allow this to happen quicker, I also put in "Thrummingbird" and "Viral Drake." Both of them are flying, which is always helpful, but they also both have proliferate. So anytime they do damage to a player you get to put a counter on anything that already has a counter, which will get the other guy to transform a lot quicker. So your goal with this deck is to get all of your enchantments out so you can pull exactly what you need, stop the other guy from doing anything with your counter spells, and then destroy them with multiple 13/13s.4 Parallel Thoughts 4 Cancel 4 Counterspell 4 Deprive 4 Ludevic's Test Subject 4 Thrummingbird 4 Viral Drake 4 Betrayal 2 Scepter of Insight 26 Islands
