I'm loving blistercoil. He's such a versatile card! Turn one- red mana- Blistercoil weird Turn two- red mana- 2 pillar of flame, swing for 3. 7 damage on turn two, and the enemy is almost half dead. Another scenario: Enemy attacks and you drop a searing spear. Block for two and kill a five mana creature. You can swing with blistercoil as long as you know you will drop a spell next turn. There's probably a lot more I'll uncover as I toy with him, in my mana decks.

He's not bad for a one-drop, but having to continually empty your hand to make good use of him is a bit much. Kiln Fiend was better despite not being a one-drop because the bonus per card spent was that much higher. It also made for way better Fling material. He's also a godawful top-deck.

It's great though when you intend to drop a bunch of spells anyway.

How about instead of posting two stupid scenarios, you autocard so people know wtf you're talking about.
