Hey everybody, so I built this deck merely out of the fact that I love to make off beat decks (Decks different from just basic creature or aggro and what not).
This deck works pretty well if I get the right cards to play out.

2 x Curse of Bloodletting
2 x Curse of the pierced heart
1 x Infernal Plunge

4 x Curse of Misfortunes
2 x Curse of thirst

2 x Curse of Echoes
2 x Negate
3 x Fog bank

1 x Curse of Exhaustion
3 x Nevermore
3 x Lingering Souls
3 x Faith's Shield

1 x Primal Clay
3 x Gem of Becoming
1 x Haunted Guardian
1 x Elixir of Immortality
1 x Creepy Doll
2 x Vanguard's shield
1 x Chronomaton

6 x Swamp
6 x Mountain
6 x Plains
6 x Island
3 x Evolving Wilds

Keep in mind that I'm trying to keep the deck standard (BUT I will gladly like to see any suggestions from earlier). The thing is, since I just started about a month ago, I have been trying to just be with standard cards so as to not get overwhelmed by the massive amount of cards from all the editions haha! Anyways, any feedback would be great, thanks!

What, they didn't make green curses?!?

Wow, looked it up in Gatherer, they didn't. That's just silly.

I can't read the cards you reference without it...

Well, ok, I CAN read the cards, but it involves opening Gatherer, looking your card up by name, hoping it's spelled right, and...

I'm just too lazy to do it, alright?

Yeah that's what I thought. It would have been helpful to have green so I could get some forests out quick with Borderland Ranger and other cards like that.

A two or maybe three color deck would tighten up your landbase.  With that in mind, I would drop White.

A friend runs RB curses, and while it is slow, it is fun.  Bitterheart Witch is in there - her ability lets him run 2-3 curses without mana support for them at all.  Sac outlets ensure the Witch dies when he needs it to.

Alternatively, run 4x Curse of Exhaustion alongside 4x Knowledge Pool (leaving/left Standard soon, though) to lock up your opponents.

Cheers!
A shout out to Gaming Grounds in Kent, Ohio and Gamers N Geeks in Mobile, Alabama.

I see what you mean with white, I've thought about dropping it, but white is where most of my defense is. With Nevermore I can block out things like Paraselene or other threats to my curses.

I've also thought about just running black and red, I figured that would be a good design, but the other curses are kinda fun.

Curse of the Nightly Hunt was going to be green, but 1) it felt more red, and 2) they needed another red card.

I was surprised. If a curse by mechanics alone felt green, it was Curse of Stalked Prey , though obviously its vampire associations made it red.

Clever deduction Watson! Maybe you can explain why Supergirl is trying to kill me.
