Maze of Ith handles Baneslayer quite nicely as well.
Protection from lands is so rare that Maze of Ith  is a really powerful card in this format.
@Mage24365: Why Badlands  ? A swamp works just as well.

Banlist update? The OP mentions nothing of The Rack / Shrieking Affliction ban discussion that I've seen bandied about. There's been a little discussion about unbanning Phyrexian Revoker or Wasteland. I think a concrete restatement of current banlist would help (and any potential policy about future banlist change methods?)

the rack/affliction thing was specifically for last round.
