I'm not crazy about this list.  You're a worse Jund Midrange.  You're a slower Selesnya aggro.  You're a less powerful Junk Reanimator.

I think the lists with Lingering Souls, walkers and Intangible Virtue are where you want to be right now.  They have the stupid, absolutely retarded resilience of Souls and token generating walkers, plus the ramp, plus the Thragtusks and whatever other topend you want to shoehorn in.

I don't see why on earth you would ever cut Farseek after having used it.  I was eyeballing it all askance and grody-like for Jund, but then I tried it, and I cast a turn 3 Huntmaster, and I was like.. oh, interesting.  Core card.

Welcome to 2012.  Blue has the most efficient creatures, black has the all-in monocolored aggro deck, the most controlling deck in the format is green-red, control decks lose to aggro in attrition wars, and counterspells aren't an answer to fatties.

Honestly, I do feel like the deck is trying to do too much in a way, but it's just something I want to play for a few weeks that I have the cards for, until I have a solid control list. :p

So what do you think I should cut for the Farseeks? (By the way, I haven't actually got to play the deck yet, I only got the last couple cards for it before going on a vacation, so this Friday will be the first opportunity)

I'd cut Rancor and Grisly Salvage for Farseeks.  That or some of your beaters, but they all seem fine.  The Rancors and Salvages just seem to conflict.  Are you beatdown, or are you reanimator, or midrange or what?  I mean all the cards in the list are good, I just feel like the deck isn't really sure what its plan is until you see your opening hand.  Ah, I shall be the mana dork + Rancor beatdown deck today!  Ah, next game I seem to be Reanimator!  The singleton Rites for value is totally solid, I'd just like to see a more planned out game than "everything," if you don't mind my saying.

I agree, that's pretty much what I meant in my last post.

1 x Arbor Elf
4 x Avacyn's Pilgrim
4 x Loxodon Smiter
3 x Centaur Healer
4 x Restoration Angel
4 x Thragtusk
1 x Wolfir Silverheart
2 x Armada Wurm

1 x Unburial Rites
2 x Revenge of the Hunted

4 x Overgrown Tomb
4 x Temple Garden
3 x Woodland Cemetery
3 x Sunpetal Grove
1 x Isolated Chapel
3 x Forest
2 x Swamp
2 x Plains
1 x Gavony Township
1 x Vault of the Archangel

SB
2 x Purify the Grave
4 x Appetite for Brains
2 x Ultimate Price
2 x Golgari Charm
3 x Abrupt Decay
1 x Oblivion Ring
1 x Sever the Bloodline

Thoughts on running Acidic Slime in the SB? Probably over Purify or Ultimate Price. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about Silverheart.

I seem to have more trouble with Bant control than anything else. I also had some trouble with an Esper tokens list, but in my own defense, I couldn't draw any black mana (Sever in hand) in game 2.

Edit: By the way, I replaced 2 Dead Weight with 2 Revenge of the Hunted since the deck was last played.

I vote for SB Ray of Revelation. Helps beat all those Oblivion Rings and Detention Spheres and Intangible Virtues.
Purify is really good against Zombies.

Not sure how I feel about Acidic Slime (not nearly as good without Pod) and Silverheart is rather solid. Like it more than Armada Wurm.

Ray of Revelation is something I've considered, I'm just not sure what it should replace. Perhaps Ultimate Price and the O-ring? Other than Resto Angel, Ultimate Price doesn't hit much that my other instant removals don't.

I also feel like I need more late-game oomph. Would some bigger spells like Angel of Serenity or even Collective Blessing be out of place here?
