Sometimes I imagine what Cisnero's life must be like. I imagine cargo pants - every pocket stuffed with coins. I imagine him (I almost said "him or her" but then I decided his gender with through the randomization of a small metal disk) - I imagine him, shopping, purchasing food, choosing which spot to park in, all through this meticulous flipping process. I imagine him asking a girl out, taking her to have a drink or whatever and then asking if she wants to play this fun game. When she responds "Sure." he removes a single quarter from one of his jingling pockets. Then proceeds to flip it repeatedly while she calls it - until she is able to make up an excuse to leave. Will he respond to this post? Only if the Chaotic Gods of Copper and Nickel deem it so. Someday many years from now, in the Dystopian future world, I'll ride my Billy Idol Unicycle past a bedraggled slumbub - He'll be clad in armor made all of the (now worthless) coins of yesterdecade. He'll grin a shiny grin at me as he flips another coin - and I'll know who it was. How could I not?

People I play with already use paper to mark down whenever cards are reveled by duress and crap like that, but then they're kinda spikey and play in pro tours and junk.
Laziness is no excuse though.

Love the concept. I agree that memory issues are something wotc should worry about but that has very little place in fantasy card creation. But whenever I read M'Nool, all I can hear is: On the fifteenth of May
in the jungle of M'Nool
in the heat of the day
in the cool of the pool
He was splashing
enjoying the jungle's great joys.

These cards are Ball Tightening.
Perfect originality is overrated and often ugly. The best and most beautiful cards I've ever seen were clearly inspired by something else.
Cards are not entirely unlike living organisms in this regard. All the good ones are a result of long evolution; the 'original' ones are either monocellular or mutant aberrations.
The weird part is reaching over the table, grabbing a card from their hand, and just staring slowly back at them, awkwardly, as you slide their voice of resurgence slowly into your pants.
Graveborn are strictly better than Zombies. I mean, look at that wicked beard  . You try growing that when your dead. And I know aging fellows who are suffering from Male Pattern Baldness, who would kill for a Mop like Ribsy's over there.
Hey Dudibus, I can't take you seriously until you take your shirt off!

As theScion pointed out, memory issues. I think all the name triggers should only go off if the card was named this turn.
Essence of Appellation is confusing. Does it totally replace the name of everything, or does everything somehow gain two names?
Erasure is white, and should be uncommon or higher.
Oracle's Search should be uncommon.
Forgotten Erasure is extremely ambiguous. As written, it sounds like it destroys only creatures with no name. Try "Destroy target creature that hasn't been named."
Malicoal should be rare or higher.
Last of all, I think forcing people to remember names is pretty annoying. I just read through the spoiler twice, and I can't remember the name of anything in your set. Imagine if I were a new player and I had to memorize literally every card in M'Nool at the prerelease. Yeah, not going to happen.

My Standard deck: Setting SunThink of how Neo couldn't beat the robots, but they kept him around anyways to defeat Agent Smith. Sure, the robots might not like having a Neo running rampant because instead of playing their favorite 4 drop fatty robot, they have to play a bunch of one mana Matrixs to contain him, but at least Neo keeps Agent Smith from reanimating an Iona on turn two.

I really enjoy imagining this from Kevin's perspective. Because in Kevin's world, Rosewater actually reads everything he types. Mark is sitting there right now, reading this, and thinking "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled. . ." Or some such. He chuckles low, then clicks on "The Best Of KEVINSET" and says "Yes, this'll do just fine. A busty lady with banding who deals direct damage to Zones!? Why this will be the star of my next set, and no one will ever believe you Kevin." Then he closes his Macbook, so his servant may move it out of the way, while another servant puts a Fetal Richard Garfield Clone lathered in Steak Sauce in front of him. Then Mark Feasts.
I mean, In KevinWorld, Mark is reading the very words I'm typing as well. Heck, in KevinWorld maybe I am Mark.

Upon reading this, I've found myself completely unable to operate in the world. I tried to decide what to eat for breakfast, and pondered the vast consequences of my choice. How do I balance my dietary needs against my desire to eat good-tasting food? Should I factor in how long it takes to prepare? Cereal is ready in moments, but bacon takes longer to cook.
Then there is the impact on other industries. Do people in the cereal industry deserve to be employed more than people in the bacon industry? Which industry should I support? I don't even have the data regarding HOW MUCH the cereal industry benefits from me eating a bowl of cereal, or how much the bacon industry benefits from me eating a side of bacon. How can I compare two qualities I can't even quantify?
And let's not forget the milk on the cereal. In addition to determining whether or not milk is healthy for me, how much that benefits the milk industry, and how much the people in the milk industry deserve my support, we have to factor in the fact that cows are put under brutal conditions in order to collect thier milk. Of course, the same goes for the pigs, and then they get killed. Of course, I really like bacon. So I need to come up with a scale that compares the value of cow happiness to pig happiness to my happiness. What trade-offs am I willing to make here? Does the fact that the pig gets put out of its misery count as a plus or a minus? Isn't bacon bad for me anyway?
Deciding what to eat for breakfast (or any meal) is impossible. Help me!
I must admit chinkeeyong, you have the most interesting character ideas; and you play them well.
Anyway, you'd be surprised about Time Stop. When I first saw that card as a relatively new player I didn't see its full potential until I read the reminder text. Is it that unintuitive, though? Mine I mean. What is possibility? Is it possible for me to type these words with my tusks? No, because I don't have tusks. Although I am now tempted to go buy some - obviously not from poachers or whatever - and use them as typing apparatus. I could be the best secretary ever. "What's your words per minute sir?" "Well, only six, but I use these tusks to type them." "You're hired!" That was the interview. And is anyone else disappointed that "apparati" is not the plural form of apparatus? I just could strangle a dictionary, because "apparatuses" is a real word. I guess it sounds pretty cool. I'll call them my Apparatusks.

Okay, I am sighing.
Several designers that I respect and admire have voiced negative opinions about Identity and the whole Naming matters subject. So I have a few options:
A)Keep it as is. Probably won't pick this one.
B)Limit it to a subtheme. I will make 4/8/12 cards with Identity. 1/2/3 four card cycles - with Green excluded. All of the Identity cards will have important EtB effects/effects in your hand. That should make them easier to remember. Then 10 to 15 support cards for the set. Tutors and Sphinxes and stuff. Nothing out of the ordinary - stuff you'd find in any set. And then <10 cards that benefit from named cards - like Onymancer (the name a card, draw a card fellow).
C) Cut the keyword all together and make a couple of cards that say things like "Name a card. Search your library for a card that shares a name with that card. You may cast that card as though it had "flash"" or something.
D)Give up.
I'm leaning toward B, but C is a viable option too. And of course there is always D. I'm looking for opinions on this - so if you have one, would you mind sharing it?
What a shame, I thought your previous one was fantastic.
