Hmm no response from Sean as to why they won't give out deck unlock keys to those whom have had their progress erased. Figures.
I agree but he did tell me this issue is something they discuss every day.
What is there to discuss every day?
Wizards employee #1: The people who lost all their progress are still waiting on a fix or reply. employee #2: Let's discuss this tomorrow. Hopefully by then they'll buy all the deck unlock keys or move onto a different game. employee #1: Ok.
I suspect it's more like:
Employee #1: Hey, Scott, this ticket on progress loss has been open for 9 months now - have you made any progress on it? Employee #2: You're funny. But not really - I spent about an hour on it yesterday, but I can't reproduce the issue. I'm hoping to gather enough data about it that I can set something up in the lab and repeat it, but it's still seeming really random. I found one condition that causes it, and fixed that - the logs said that Gamecenter sent a strange code that caused a reset, but I asked Game Center about it, and they're not able to find the source. But that error wasn't in the other three cases I got it to happen. Employee #3: Did anyone ask Marketing about giving out free keys? Employee #1: They're worried that people will just claim this issue, and get free unlocks, rather than paying for them. Until we can get something that is bulletproof to verify who should have what, they're not going to agree to it. Employee #3: Can't we, I dunno, tie it achievements or something? Employee #2: We didn't code that in - achievements only unlock portraits. I could redo the entire section, but I don't really have any time to start on that until .... I dunno, a month or so? There's another sprint starting November 1st, but it will have to get on the priorities list, and I don't have anyone to champion it, and while it really sucks for people that get it, it's still below some of the other stuff I'm working on so far.

Radish, you give them too much credit. This is why...since Dotp first came out 3 years ago, every patch...every new version of DotP....has been every bit as buggy with the same bugs coming over with each new Dotp, expansion, and even "patches to "fix" things". Never seen anything fixed..Trust me, there's next to 0 discussion going on, they don't even try to make the new version of the game any better year to year. I don't blame Sean for any of this, he's just a messenger, but if the people who made decisions really cared... these bugs would not be here 3 years later or they would change developers/get something done....I'd say its more like this:
employee 1 "we have problems sir" manager 1 "we know about these problems and are constantly working on them" employe 1 telling community "dont worry, they are working on the issue" manager 1 to manager 2 "like i give a ****, as long as we make money as opposed to losing money we wont do anything. LOL LOL, i love ripping off people" manager 2 "me too, ripping off people is so much fun! i plan on ripping off my mother tomorrow." manager 1" LOL I just ripped off my son and daughter yesterday, it was great! they are so stupid when they are babies, LOL LOL"

-Xbox 360 -1 Account -DLC was NOT activated -Started the game, and it did an update (presumably to make it ready for the DLC if I purchased it). Went to campaign to use an encounter to unlock cards for a deck... -And all my Campaign, Planechase, and Puzzle data was lost. I still had all my card unlocks, ahievements, and avatars, but I had to restart everything else.
Not a big deal to me, as it didn't take me long to get back to where I wanted, but it was a little frustrating. I'm just glad I didn't lose the time I spent unlocking the cards for the decks I did spend the time on.

What platform you’re playing on: iPad
How many accounts and/or systems you use to run the game (if you have multiple PCs for instance): Just one, on the iPad
Whether or not you’ve activated any DLC for the game: No
Your most recent actions before and after noticing the issue: Upgraded to iOS 6.0, upgraded DotPW 2013 with latest expansion.
What exactly was lost as far as saved progress is concerned (ie decks, player rank, achievements, campaign progress, etc… ): Campaign progress has been reset to the start, decks have been reset to the start, avatars reset, still have my 10 achievements though.
Can't see me playing this anymore, if there is no way to go back to a safe save point.

I think Wizards_Sean is going around collecting info. I received a private message from him today and I gave him my steam account username. I hope our unlocks get re-instated!
