But speaking if bojuka bog... I think crop rotation is super cute.
Active Knight of the Reliquary is also goo in this application, but less / more versatile.

Crypt? I suppose that falls in the Relic of Prog category, but it would do the trick.

Graveyard hate rarely ever stops the Reanimater decks in my group, aside from the bad ones. Its countered by Witchbane Orb , plus most of the people with black also run tons of ways to deal with Nihil bomb, Tormonds, or Bog. Bog rarely gets the job done because its super slow, being a land and all. The other two can be popped, forcing you to use them before their time. Odds are, Kokusho ends up being a win condition. Win conditions like that don't get stopped by Crypt or Bog, but with instant exile (which is black's department). Not to mention black has tons of instant speed reanimation to combat that too.

I kinda like stonecloaker .... But necromancy is my fav. Fizzles their reanimation (due to optional instant speed) and gives you their duder instead. Also, puppeteer clique with a blink or sac outlet.

Its unofficially official. There's no enforcement or control on wizards part (maybe online enforcement, I dunno). But the list is centrally maintained by the edh rules committee (non-wizards). That's about as official as it gets.

The ban list comes from the people who created the format, so it's as close to official as it gets. As far as I've seen, any Wizards employee that has mentioned it goes along with the list.
At events like SCG tournaments, Commander games are generally left to enforce themselves (again from what I've seen), and everyone there tends to follow the same ban list.

so heres another quick question then. since the format is essentially commander and all its wizards released product is refered to as commander why not use the wizards commander ban list as the standard?
