When playing multipler, if Player A casts Switcheroo and exchanges control of two creatures from Players B and C, does anything happen to the exchanged creatures when Player A dies?

No. Only effects which give control of permanent to Player A would end. An effect created by Player A which changes the control of other players' permanents does not necessarily end.
