Doesn't the Hydra come back as 0/0 after it has been O-ringed?

Pro tip:
-4 Llanowar Elves +4 Arbor Elves
That way you're post-rotation legal.
Merely a suggestion:
-4 Crushing Vines +4 Ranger's Guile
A timely Ranger's Guile will protect your fatties against O-rings, Murders, etc. Unless your local meta-game is still artifact-crazy, you don't need the extra artifact removal from Crushing Vines with 4 Naturalize already in the deck. So that's four slots that you're essentially using to take out flying creatures... Sideboard those puppies.

Thanks for the input guys. I had no idea O-ring would flub up the hydras that way. Just figured if he was x/x he'd come back as x/x. Any other tips/advice would be awesome, thanks again.

I think what you need is some creature ramp - both in terms of fetching out lands (ala Borderland Ranger ) and swapping Llanowar Elves for Arbor Elf post rotation. This not only allows you to ramp up your hydra when you cast it, but with Borderland Ranger , Dawntreader Elk and other fetchland creatures you have both a body AND you are removing lands from what you might topdeck, making you more likely to draw what you want. Additionally, once RTR is released: Spoiler:

Your splash gives you access to scavenge as an ability, which can pump up your hydra and your other creatures if necessary. However, I do not think that killing wave is the best card for this deck, I would look at other options for removal.
Abrupt Decay could be good as a replacement for naturalize as it will hit more targets in competitive play given the speed of the current format
Corpsejack Menace plus hydra could be hilarious, not a great competitive move but i just wanted to mention it
Jarad, golgari lich lord and Korozda Guildmage can be good answers to attempts to remove your hydra "you want to o-ring it? fine TAKE X DAMAGE and your o-ring fizzles" or "Mudering my Hydra? Well guess what I just got an army of plant tokens instead!! So . . . uh yeah . . . fear my daisies?"

Better question, what does Nicol Bolas want with the lightbulb?

Wondering what you guys think about adding Increasing Savagery incase they counter the Ranger's Guile also double to beef up an ooze.

Chris Hansen disapproves of your deck.
1000th post November 26, 2010. Where Islands gets his decks: Spoiler:
Show
It was revealed to me in a dream. All the cards were in my dream except for three slots which I plugged in as Vault Skirge.
FULL DISCLOSURE: The dream was post AVR so there was a copy of Slayer's Stronghold. I decided to keep it pre AVR in my post here.
EDIT: I just remembered. The Skirges might have been 2x Whipflare and 1x something else, probably War and Peace.
EDIT2: Currently 4-0 in my first four games with this. My opponents have been very angry. I fought off a Wurmcoil from Grixis for six turns before I found my second Dispatch. Jeez, I can do a lot of damage.
EDIT3: Streak broken. Lost to an unexpected Overrun. Cracking a Shrine for 10 wasn't enough.
How Kedi tests his decks: Spoiler:

also, I've been playtesting this deck in my sleep today that kinda freaked me out
