So I've been trying for a while now to make an effective mill deck. I've had mixed success, and lately I've been thinking about one based on infinite mana combos and cards with X in their casting cost. With the addition of sands of delirium to the game I think it might be enough to get milling, forever. oona, queen of the fae is obviously another thing to be included, as well as increasing confusion and Psychic Drain . ambassador laquatus can be activated multiple times so I wouldn't rule him out either. I would even go so far as filling out some empty space with other merfolk if room was needed. As for the infinite mana, I'd go with caged sun / gauntlet of power + Palinchron or the like. This works especially well with brain freeze , too, so I think the deck might have potential. If I had a system for infinite mana that also tapped/untapped lands, I might also try and figure out a way to go infinite with nephalia drownyard or Duskmantle, House of Shadow . Miscolanious things to put in also include the painter's servant + grindstone combo and [diabolic tutor[/c]. Anything else you guys can think of to make this deck run consistantly? Going off as a combo deck is one thing, but I want it running well every game.

Ashnod's Altar , Rooftop Storm , and Havengul Lich with any zombie, I recommend Geralf's Mindcrusher you won't even need your X cost cards. Heck, with just Storm, Lich, and Mindcrusher, you could probably mill them without going infinite so long as you had any sac outlet. Heartless Summoning works also with any 2 cost artifact creature.

Is there anything you know of that's a little lower cost than that? Or has fewer cards in it? I'm just trying to keep things simple
