Ok, here is why I think this.
A. DotP came out 3 weeks before M13, a clear tie-in (I mean they made a whole deck based around Exalted, M13's "new" mech)
B. Next Tuesday is 3 weeks before Return to Ravnica
C. They already said the decks are named after the guilds in Ravnica... another clear tie-in.
This is just a wild guess but there is some truth here.

Read first few words of topic title, got enthusiastic about possible official statement that expansion would be released, saw question mark, *sadface*
No but you're right, everything points towards a release next week, however, as I pointed out in another thread, some sources now mention "this fall" as the expected release date. Although they could just mean september by saying so, this still worries me because we still haven't heard anything from Wizards for the last couple of weeks now and we're 7 days away from the rumoured release. I'll be very happy if we get the new decks next week, but I'll be very disappointed if we don't get to play them by the end of september.

I'm sorry but this thread is pointless and misleading. All of your points have been expressed in other threads. We have no idea when the expansion is coming out and neither does Stainless because they would have announced it during PAX Prime.
I believe what's holding up the expansion is the patch that they are including with the expansion. We already have the data for the decks in the game so that can't be the issue. I think it's dumb to tie an expansion release with a patch.

If it doesn't come out next week, it will just take a back seat to Borderlands 2 when it is finally released. If it's not out until fall, we've got at least 3 weeks to wait.
Still unsure what the big secrecy is about if it's already on the disk. We know when Halo 4 is coming out, but not when they are releasing DLC which needs way way more hype than an A list game like Halo. Making it a big secret doesn't get the hype machine running guys. If you don't know when you'll release it, that is an even bigger problem.

They already announced the release date at PAX, it's October 5th

You're welcome.
PS: He may have been talking about the paper decks now that i re-watched the video, but it gives you a hint that the expansion is in fact this fall.

That's the RTR set release (Paper). He doesn't say anything about DOTP release date, except This Fall Which is good because that has now narrowed it down to between Now and then.
BTW Just noticed Steam has the achievements. and did Spiritmonger get new art?

Which is why i edited my post to let people know i may have been wrong Thanks for the clarification. As for the narrowing down part, it's a lot closer than the DLC for dark souls console users (me). I've yet to understand why a company who makes video games for console users has decided to make their customers wait until winter when PC users have the full package on day 1 of their release.
