you lose a turn for each time you tap Magosi

so if you tap it 3 times your opponent will get 4 turns before you get your next

You will lose one turn for each one.  If you tap 3, you lose three turns.

Yes, there is. Any card that has the word Proliferate on it. Such as, Contagion Engine , Contagion Clasp ,   Steady Progress , et al.

Proliferate doesn't work since you return the land as part of the cost, it doesn't matter how many counters it had

or at least you need more cards than simply proliferate

You know, I never even read that part of the card. Wow. I feel like a horse's patoot. I thought Magosi kinda sucked before; now it just plain blows.

You just need 2x Rings of Brighthearth copy the extra turn twice for a total of 3. Then replay the land, untap it on the first extra turn, skip the second extra turn, and on the 3rd use it for 3 more extra turns. You just need to skip one turn to start it, then you get unlimited turns.
