Thanks a bunch, guys. I'm building a monowhite anti-vampire deck thanks to getting Midnight Duelist in a recent booster pack. I also plan to get Elite Inquisitor s as well as more Duelists, but I realized that all the protection in the world won't do me any good if I can't block any of the numerous flying vamps. I remembered that I had Ascension in another deck and decided to see if there were any similar, cheaper-to-cast cards to fix this.

I would take flying equipment over most auras, though. Then again, maybe splashing green for some Corrosive Gale (technically, no need to splash) or Hurricane ?

Ha, Slayers is another one I didn't know existed. I had no idea that there were so many wards against vampires. I'm so used to seeing forum threads and comments on cards in the Gatherers about how broken they are that I forgot that there was probably a way to deal with them.
