I'm glad that they didn't have any picture taking or Facebook related requirements this time. That was one minor issue with the Magic Celebration. Not sure what to do about a guild meeting though.

Easy - before packs are handed out, have the store seat people by guild affiliation. Then you can exchange high-fives, gloat (or whine) about the rares you pulled, debate the strength of your guild mechanic, make diabolical plots to take over the world, etc etc.
If the store is unable or unwilling to do this, track down one or more people you high-fived and discuss a guild-related topic for any amount of time - ta-da, instant guild meeting!
Is it really bad that I want to memorize all the comp rules section numbers so that I can invoke them to "sound more Azorius"?

Izzet Jargon for any Occasion
There are now achievement checklists for the prerelease. One of the Izzet achievements is to spend a few moments spouting meaningless science jargon enlightening the other players with our genius.
Thus, I present to you the following table. All you need is a six sided Fate Cube (d6) to have my invention decide what to say for you! Enjoy!

Thragtusk  and Woodland Cemetery  in the Golgari deck? Those two cards are worth more than the MSRP of the duel deck. Here's to hoping it reduces the single prices a bit.

Not to mention the wolfir silverheart, the full playset of vampire night hawks and a deadbridge are all great value!

I have to say, the Rakdos event deck looks absolutely abysmal.
So, we have a Rakdos deck, which doesn't include a single Rakdos rare. In fact, there's only one Ravnica rare, and it's an Izzit card.
Also, I don't mind most of the rares being from other sets, but couldn't they find more interesting creatures than Stormkirk Noble? Yeah, it's sometimes good against predominantly human decks - providing you get it early, and they have no removal or non-human blockers - but now we're entering Ravnica, and it's hardly another human set. Considering the leader of Rakdos is a Demon, it would have been nice to have some more demons or devila - which feel far more in line with Rakdos than an uptight vampire.
Golgari deck looks considerably better and (amazingly) actually includes a rare, which is not only from Ravnica, but actually from the Golgari Guild! A truely novel and groundbreaking concept, which was presumably devised just after the Rakdos deck was completed.
