That "White Weenie" list seems much closer to Death and Taxes than your standard run of the mill WW deck. I guess it's just the legacy equivalent *shrugs*
That's because it is Death and Taxes and SCG just loves catagorizing it as WW which in turn seems to have carried over onto here. :\

Ceci n'est pas une pipe.
This definitely doesn't mean what you think it means.
I was referring to the painting The Treachery of Images.
I know.

"Outside of the Karakas and the Wastelands, this list is pretty friendly to anyone building on a budget, so if you have been contemplating trying out Legacy but don't want to spend a bunch, give this a shot!"
I'm sorry, but I still think Aether Vial, Sword of Fire and Ice and Umezawa's Jitte are expensive enough on their own. There comes a point when you stop and realize that you're paying 15+ $ for a single piece of cardboard with some ink on it, and that the production cost of that 15+ $ card was the same as any 0.01 $ card.

It's about the perspective of a professional palyer like Woods to have little understanding of the value of the single dollar to a more casual player. Some people cannot drop $300 on a deck on the drop of a hat, even if they work for high end jobs. It is like asking a millionaire to conceive of a poor person's value of a dollar = much higher, and more intrinsic to their survival.

"Ever since man first left his cave and met a stranger with a different language and a new way of looking at things, the human race has had a dream: to kill him, so we don't have to learn his language or his new way of looking at things." --- Zapp Brannigan (Beast With a Billion Backs)

Golgari & Rakdos. When it gets closer to time, they'll show us something else miniscule. And like a couple days before release they'll have lists.
