Hello Everyone!

Well the season has officially started thanks to my counterpart Moo opening the ladder on Friday and though we are starting off small we are hoping to have a few more join the ladder soon. Everything of value must start somewhere right

This is a free to play ladder, you incur no costs what so ever, so we are still hoping you will join us too. Simply register with cybergamer by following the link below.

www.cybergamer.com.au/register/

After that simply click and create your team on the ladder on the following link, all you need enter is your team name and add a logo if you wish and your good to challenge

Now although we are an Australian based ladder we have a few Americans who have joined also, please check the rules section link below, we have added a time zone difference so maybe you should check to make sure the time zone difference wont impact your sleep to much haha

If you have any questions pertaining to the ladder please feel free to ask and i will help you out to the best of my ability.

And above all else we would like to send a thanks out to Wizards Of The Coast for the Online MTG game format and hours of fun it has given us.

We are proud and elated to bring this ladder to you all so the only thing i can say is

Enjoy all!

I'd love to join but the time zone difference may prevent this.  If you wouldn't mind clarifying the rules - is it possible to join but only do weekend games?  It's possible I could do a weekday game but unlikely.  If I were challenged by someone on a Tuesday, is it possible to wait and play the game on Saturday?  If it is not, I would probably have to forfeit.  Looks like a great setup though, I may join anyway even if I have to forfeit a bunch of games.

ok first question to shidoshi - the choice is always yours bud whether or not you wish to join is entirely on your back, a 1v1 ladder is a competition where you fight up the ranks to be the best, as i said completely free to play and we are hoping to find prizes from company sponsorship for finalists. But for fun is why you would join.
To Unsurreal - the platform is PC at this stage but if we find growing support we can move to other platforms also
To Dh50 - yeah this was a big factor in creation as i personally have many American friends the best i could do was open up the weekend slots to count, so yes you can offer only weekends. If your challenged u have the option to not accept the match and you do unfortunately move 1 position down the ladder but there is no loss reported to your name but also there is the option of talking to the opponent and telling them your predicament and have admin change the time a date once accepted (you have 48hours to accept so sending them a message before accepting is your best option). Youll find the ladder is quite mature, as with most MTG platforms it is generally older people playing and so are quite accommodating

Sounds good, I may give this a try.  I'm not sure that I have the time to be a consistent player but I'll do my best and see how the time zone thing goes.

The system is really good. When I played tennis we had this kind of ladder to challenge certain guys with the goal to be ranked as high as possible. That ladder was fundamental as it served rankings within our team (for matchup purpose when playing other teams).

Seeing as the official ranking system on Steam is just garbage and I always miss the boat on the forum tournaments - I'll sign up.
