This was a difficult build to be sure. Krenko is obviously something you want to attempt to play, and the red 2 drops are the most of any color.
Black was easily dismissed as it had almost no depth (besides splashing for Essence Drain). Green has no mana fixing until 4 land, which is fairly useless. It has Silklash, which is very much a beating for some decks, but almost no other good cards. Blue wants to be paired with white, and the white cards are decent, but white + blue is subpar IMO as Odric never gets online with so few early drops.
The blue is deep though, and has 3 and 4 drops to curve appropriately with the red. It also brings some aggression with the Invocation and another way to win the game with Sleep. Archaeomancer can bring back the Flames, the Sleep, the Invocation, Divination, and then be bounced to do it again with Unsummon. Sleeping your opponent 3x should win you the game, or Fury x3 for 12 to the dome.
I chose not to play Stuffy Doll because this isn't a defensive deck and the chances you're winning the game by playing a 5cc blocker is not good.
Artic Aven is just a 2/1 flyer most of the time here, but considering Wind Drake is a 2/2 for the same mana cost, I am okay with that as they are just evasion creatures in this deck. I didn't play a Plains because you never want to draw it unless you have the Aven out, and you need U and R on turn 2 consistently.

U/W. This was a really quick build for me and it practically built itself. Black and green are too shallow on quality to consider really. Red has Krenko, but if you don't find him it feels like it will fall flat. The Odric/Stuffy combo is hilarious and should end games. No, I don't have anything particularly large, but I plan on just pecking people to death with a lifelinking aven. =D This Deck was built in 0:06:33Total Deck Size: 4017 Lands --------------- 10 Island 7 Plains 16 Creatures --------------- 1 Archaeomancer 2 Arctic Aven 2 Courtly Provocateur 1 Faerie Invaders 1 Guardians of Akrasa 1 Knight of Glory 1 Odric, Master Tactician 1 Phyrexian Hulk 1 Pillarfield Ox 2 Scroll Thief 1 Stuffy Doll 1 Warclamp Mastiff 1 Wind Drake 7 Other Spells --------------- 1 Captain's Call 1 Divination 1 Divine Verdict 1 Redirect 1 Sleep 1 Talrand's Invocation 1 Tricks of the Trade
******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** From Mark Rosewater's Tumblr: the0uroboros asked: How in the same set can we have a hexproof, unsacrificable(not a word) creature AND a land that makes it uncounterable. How does this lead to interactive play? I believe I’m able to play my creature and you have to deal with it is much more interactive than you counter my creature. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Post #777
