Wandering Wolf  gets blacked by a 2/2, if you cast something to give wandering wolf +1/+1 at this point, is he still considered blocked?

the legality of the block is only checked when declaring blockers
after that it doesn't matter if the block is illegal, the block remains
proud member of the 2011 community team

The legality of the block is checked only at the moment the block is declared.
