My first attempt at a modern deck, going with what I have readily available. Thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated. Land 2x Arid Mesa 1x Breeding Pool 1x Clifftop Retreat 2x Copperline Gorge 1x Fire-Lit Thicket 2x Forest 1x Grove of the Burnwillows 1x Misty Rainforest 2x Mountain 1x Plains 4x Razorverge Thicket 3x Rootbound Crag 1x Scalding Tarn 1x Temple Garden Creature 2x Avacyn's Pilgrim  1x Avalanche Riders  (Not bad main, LD on turn 3 is a nice hindrance) 4x Birds of Paradise  1x Glen Elendra Archmage  1x Hokori, Dust Drinker  (Helps lockdown the board nicely to set up combo) 3x Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker  1x Kitchen Finks  1x Llanowar Elves  4x Overgrown Battlement  (No Wall of Roots available, could also probably be Devoted Druid, but the mana provided makes it much easier to combo earlier) 1x Pestermite  (Temporary Exarch replacement) 1x Phantasmal Image  1x Phyrexian Metamorph  2x Restoration Angel  (Only two for now...) 3x Village Bell-Ringer  (Restoration Angel-ish) 1x Wall of Omens  1x Zealous Conscripts  1x Zo-Zu the Punisher  (3 drop variance, can get a bit of damage in before getting podded.) Sorcery (Both are Chord replacements and seem to be working well) 2x Lead the Stampede  2x Genesis Wave  Artifact 4x Birthing Pod  Sideboard Under construction 1x Akki Blizzard-Hearder  2x Ancient Grudge  1x Harmonic Sliver  1x Sylvok Replica  2x Thalia, Guardian of Thraben  1x Gaddock Teeg  2x Combust  1x Sower of Temptation  1x Conjurer's Bauble  1x Elixir of Immortality  1x Nihil Spellbomb  1x Relic of Progenitus

This deck works with 4 Angels and 4 Chords. Everything else is just dudrling unfortunately.

While she may work nicely with Hokori, Zo-Zu and the LD, I doubt she is worth a main slot. I will test her though.

Storm and other combo does exist, and it hurts the decks that aren't based on creatures. Gives you a tempo advantage too.

After a fair amount of playtesting in the past few days, both Lead the Stampede and Genesis wave have proven themselves to be as good as, if not better than, Chord. Bell-Ringer and Overgrown Battlement are also holding up well. I haven't really needed to pod into my land hate yet, so I'm considering swapping one or two out for a few more clone effects and possibly adding/boarding an Angel of Jubilation  for the mirror and against Melira.
