I swear Magic General has had a post every 1-2 days for the last month featuring a new guy asking where they can buy Magic cards cheap.
This seems like a good thing to be stickying to the top of the forum, as our answers always seem to be the same. Or is this going to count as advertising?

Having an officially-sanctioned thread on a wizards.com domain recommending specific retailers seems like a bad idea.
And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real.

Agreed that it'd be problematic. But there must be some way of avoiding having the same thread posted by someone new every 24hrs... maybe we need to start banhammering and pointing them to the other thread that's already on the front page? Or have a "Good Deal?" thread similar to the "Trade Thread" sticky? I dunno... just putting the thoughts out there...

I'm probably going to replace the trade thread with one titled "trade and price checks" or something. Then I'll be more aggressive on locking other trading/buying threads.
