This came up in a casual game, and we weren't ecactly sure on what would take precedence, so I thought I'd look for a little help here. What happens if I target a Forbid in my graveyard with Snapcaster Mage , and pay the buyback cost on the Forbid? Will it be returned to my hand as a part of buyback? Or will it be exiled as per the rules of flashback?

It will be exiled. The rules of Flashback are that if the flashbacked card leaves the stack for any reason, it gets exiled instead of going anywhere else.

Flashback states "If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack." (over in the comp rules).
So you could pay the buyback cost, but when the spell tried to return to your hand, Flashback would exile it instead.
