Tr  ees  die for them and we don't even get to shuffle them into our decks. If they wanted to make cool versions of the EDH generals, they should of just foiled the normal sized ones. I do not care for them.

Vanguard? I thought it was an interesting take on tweaking the game a little.
Planechase? *LOVED* it. Planes are large, expansive places, so a large, expansive art works. Besides, the plane deck was it's own deck, and didn't really interact with the rest of the cards.
Commander? No. No. No no no no no no no no. I do *NOT* want to buy one of your stupid little commander boxes to carry around every time I make a commander deck because my commanderp is so big that unless I have the special box, it gets all bent because it's different sized from the rest. No. Oversized commanders are overglorified posters of cards.

I find oversized versions of actual cards ridiculous. They aren't cards; they're pictures of cards.

Okay, here's what we have so far: I personally hate them.
the oversized version just takes away too much space
I would never go out of my way to purchase them
pretty useless
I usually cut the ones I recieve down to just the art, name, and mana cost so they fit into a regular sleeve.
They are worthless to me because they can't be used to play the game. I know you can have the oversized EDH one's, but I would never use them even if I had them.
actually come to think of it, I don't have any oversized cards. There might be a reason for that.

I have to say, they are really really cool... the first time you see them. My first real experience with them was at the AVR prerelease. I thought they were cool, managed to obtain a full set and planned to use them to build Commander decks. And then I lent one to my friend who had a Gisela, Blade of Goldnight  deck and realized why everybody dislikes them so much. As other people have mentioned, the combination of it being difficult to store/transport and too large makes them just about useless. They work very well for things to give to new players (Or players like myself who just had missed out on actually dealing with them) but they really don't belong in an elite premium product like Commander's Arsenal.

Yeah I was stricly talking about oversized actual magic cards, not planechase or archenemy cards. Just making that distinction clear. At least with planechase and archenemy you are still playing the game, and in a cool alternate way too. But things like the oversized promo cards wotx used to send me in the mail, oversized edh commanders, and the oversized cards they used to put in boosters boxes are completly useless to me because they add nothing to my experience of playing the game and have very little collector flair.

I've already said this in two other threads, but I really dislike oversized cards. I have absolutely no use for them, and wouldn't try to accomodate them in larger, awkward boxes. The fact that they're taking up space in a set like Commander's Arsenal is very disappointing, to say the least.
To repeat my question from other threads: Where is the market research that says that players want oversized cards? Nobody seems to like them, so why does WotC waste energy and resources on them?

I'd like to see full art large size cards. Not as in the full art lands that still have a border, just the art instead. And more normal sized full art lands as well, with thin borders and no box below the bar that says "Land".
Games could be played with the large cards eventually when there are enough of them.
Does there inclusion mean the exclution of other cards? Can wizzards not include as many or as few cards as they like?
In some cases I would imagine large sized commanders wouldn't work, for example if the card was played, moved to the top of your library and then you shuffled your library.

I'd like to know this as well. Out of all the people I've talked to about the over-sized cards only a handful of them state that they like them. An overwhelming majority of people I've talked to believe they're a waste of tree. There's very little support for them online, this thread is a great example. Someone needs to tell WotC they were a bad idea because it doesn't seem like they've gotten the memo.
