If you were to change a color instance using the card glammerdye for example can you change the color instance to colorless? If not are there any cards that can do something like that?

"Colorless" literally means "without a color," so no, you cannot choose it. If you are asked to choose a color, the only legal choices are "red," "blue," "green," "white," or "black."

There are five colors in Magic: white, blue, black, red, green. If something asks you to choose a color, those are your only choices.

'Colorless', like 'monocolored' and 'multicolored', is defined by how many colors that object has; colorless means 'has no color', monocolored means 'has exactly one color', and multicolor means 'has two or more colors'.

The rules allows you to chose colourless for a colour as much as it allows you to chose "pink" or "verdigris". :P
Rules question? Have you read the Basic rulebook already? No? Why not take some time to do that?

How to autocard (do this to specify a card in your posts):
Type [c]Black Lotus[/c] to get Black Lotus .
Type [c=Black Lotus]The Overpowered One[/c] to get The Overpowered One .

Oh, there's a rule for that:

105.4. If a player is asked to choose a color, he or she must choose one of the five colors. “Multicolored” is not a color. Neither is “colorless.”

«Dystocracy : A system of government in which corrupt leadership colludes with dishonest bankers and greedy elites in order to ensure that productive members of society –people who actually do useful work- bear the greatest share of taxes while gaining the least benefit possible.»

Sounds familiar?

With Avatar of Me and MaRo's rulings about contact lenses, you can choose any color.

Also, "in Unland" means much the same as "if you're willing to disregard the rules." A statement involving that isn't really interesting or relevant here.
