Ok guys I have a weird question.

My vampire deck has base vampires as creatures then red spell damage as well.

The deck has 22 various lands,

and this is what im not changing: (but please let me know if I am creature heavy because I want to be) total of 19 creatures.

4x sorin, lord of innistrad
4x stromkirk noble
4x stromkirk captain
2x vampire nighthawk
3x bloodline keeper
4x Falkenrath aristocrat
4x curse of stalked prey
4x searing spear
2x child of night

that totals: 53 cards.

the rest I need to decide between bonfire of the damned thunderous wrath and devil's play

so question 1) is this deck pretty creature heavy?
and question 2) out of those 3 red spells how many of each should i use, in order to avoid too much miracle cards in my starting hand?
and question 3) would you use a different red spell, eventhough i have searing spears already for the low cost hits.

my sidebar has thunderbolts for flyer decks and will have whatever i dont use of the above spells.

please give reasons behind logic.

I can't garentee I am correct on this but.

1. Overall I would say no you are not, though for a red deck, you might want to consider more spells, though I must ask, what is your win condition, as in, how you plan to win?
2. I wouldn't recomend any of those as it seems you lack the mana ramp required to use the X ones, I would also recomend four lighting bolts over Thunderous wrath as it will fit better with your current mana ramp, and isn't useless if it is drawn in your opening hand.
3. As I said before lighting bolt[c] is a decent red spell, I would however consider replacing [c]Sorin, Lord of Innistrad as he seems to be the only white spell in that deck, and not having plains in your deck will help your deck run more smoothly.

Though, I am not an expert by any means, hopefully this is helpful.

yea actually I was thinking about replacing sorin myself..

I will use at least 3 bonfires lol those cards are way too overpowered. and even if i can only do 2 damage with them when i need them... my captain gives everything first strike to so at the least it sets me up with a crazy combat advantage.

my win condition will be aggro and quick pressure. a bonfire can be a finishing move if its in my hand to start since the first strike on everything will finish off strong creatures. plus bonfire owns the crap out of token decks at turn 5.

so i will replace sorin with some more creatures.

lightning bolt is not standard legal.   incinerate is legal, but volt charge + vampires is awesome.
Next thing you will tell me Browbeat is bad.

Three bonfires and increase your land count to 24.  Also sideboard Witchbane Orb as it stops bonfire of the damned.

Brimstone volley is great in vamps. Also, Rakish Heir at least for me is better than curse

Mono red could be decent.

4x Curse of Stalked Prey
4x Brimstone Volley
4x Bonfire of the Damned
4x Stromkirk Noble
4x Markov Blademaster
4x Furor of the Bitten
4x Rakish Heir
2x Falkenrath Marauders
2x Mark of Mutiny
2x Fling
2x Vampiric Fury
2x Pillar of Flame

22 Mountain

Bonfire is a sideboard card at most for this deck. It's best in control strategies. With aggro decks you don't want to waste your early turns on something like a big X spell. The other two spells you listed are just worse than bonfire in this deck.

Also, curse of stalked prey is just a really, really bad card.

On the other hand, Mark of Mutiny (if only in the sideboard) or Pillar of Flame both seem like good inclusions to this deck.

Snapcaster Mage is the best card of all time. How do you deal?

I'm sorry I'm not quite following you here. What possible reason would bonfire be a sideboard card over mainboard. This is an amazing card against all deck types.

Because it's bad in aggressive decks and it's also a really bad Lava Axe against control decks. Imagine drawing bonfire in your opening hand, or on turns one, two or three. Most of the time playing any of your creatures on turns one, two or three will be better than miracling a bonfire. The bonfire then proceeds to sit in your hand and do nothing for the crucial early turns in the game, at most being cast at an almost uselessly-high mana cost later on.
