Azusa kind of resembles Richard Garfield's daughter. I find that to be very interesting. Very cool.

Is it bad that I can't tell if you're joking or serious?
But viewing this card will be as close as Kevin gets to the Garfield family.
Clever deduction Watson! Maybe you can explain why Supergirl is trying to kill me.

Kamigawa might be denounced a "failure" block, but flavorwise it will forever be one of my favorites. There were just so many interessting individual persons and storys (due to the new Legendary mechanic)... Azusa was one of them.
Just curious...why is Kamigawa considered a failure?
D&D rules were never meant to exist without the presence of a DM. RAW is a lie.

too insular, "Splice on Arcane" is a prime example of that it doesn't work at all outside of the block

And the flavor was highly esoteric. If you weren't an Otaku or Japanese, you had no frakking clue what was going on aesthetically.

It had a great deal of promise, but Saviors ruined it. The block is resented in hindsight for cards that lack replayability without cards from the block. Also, it came about after the original Mirrodin and butts were still quite sore.

Or just a general mythology freak. I liked it for drawing from an unconventional source, I'm not particularly invested in manga or anime (also, I'm not Japanese ).
Thank you Blitzschnell for the awesome banner!
