In the past full expansions have given all the decks extra cards. It happened in 09 and 2012. So maybe DLC 2 will give all the decks an extra 5 cards. Hell, maybe DLC 1 will give all the decks an extra 5 cards.
True, but in the past there wasn't a series of promo codes that were easily available to everyone and basically added 100 cards to the game for free. I'd be highly shocked if there was any new content for the existing decks in the upcoming expansion. But that would be awesome.
150 with the Expansion.

Who says that the Wizards rep in that sneak peak video had the promo unlocks unlocked? Remember, we aren't supposed to have them all yet, and they won't necessarily be unlocked with the expansion. There could be 10 new cards per deck not counting the promo unlocks. Then again, I highly doubt it. But it's a theory. Guess it's just wait and see. Sigh.
He definitely had some promos unlocked like Jester's Cap , and maybe more that had the promo symbol on the card.

So am I the only one worried about the fact that several sources (such as IGN) are now talking about a release "this fall"? I mean, first Wizards makes an announcement in which they mention "later this summer", then August passes without any additional info (but we're still ok with that since summer theoretically runs till 22 september) and now, just one week away from the rumoured release date, we still haven't heard anything from Wizards... This lack of communication is starting to get very frustrating, especially since the situation is just the same as with the previous editions of DOTP. On top of all this, the expansion decks have been in the game since the initial release in June and all we're really going to pay for is a small file which unlocks this content. I have no problems with this principle of DLC but it's so annoying to know that the decks you're so eager to play are right there in the game waiting for an unlock...
Anyway, I really hope they release the expansion next week...
I'm right there with you. Several reps at PAX kept on saying this fall which worries me. Although, they could be thinking of just the month of September as fall, and not really think when fall actually begins. What could possibly take so long to put this DLC out? I know they are trying to have it sync with RTR, but it doesn't make sense that they would initially hint "later this summer" unless there was some sort of delay. As you said we already have the decks in game. Are we getting new additions? Were there former placeholders? I mean in principle, I dislike paying for locked content I already payed for, but in the case of $15, it isn't a huge deal. If this things does not drop next week only to it have exactly what we're expecting (same decklists for the new decks, few bug fixes, no additions to old decks) I will be sorely dissapointed. Sean WOTC has added some nice transparency with company, so it's kind of frustrating to not have this issue addressed.

Achievements for the next expansion have recently been released on Steam. Not sure if anyone has noticed, although if I recall correctly, they were present when they first tried to put it up. Anyway, now that they've re-added it, hopefully this bodes well for a release by next week.

You have to rember the Promo codes were supposed to be a slow trickle down through magic events and websites but a Member of the community used a program from the hospitel where he works which was supposed to model random varition i think or it was possibly used for modeling DnA ( either way it would have been a powerfull program on a powerfull computer) and brute forced all the codes using patterns that the community found in the initial 3 codes we had.
