I am waiting for a couple cards to come in the mail and I have an idea of how I am building this deck/combo, but not completely sure. I have changed my angel deck more times than I recall. I would appreciate any thoughts or ideas about this. The deck is currently monowhite, but I am going to change it to green/white for mana purposes. The main angel is going to be avacyn, angel of hope and she will be equipped with worldslayer . I am sure you already see where I am going with this deck just with the combination of those two cards. Those two cards are essentially the main combo. Board sweep, smack em in the face, rinse/repeat. I am trying to put an emphasis on vigilance and indestructible in this deck. I tend to put serra angel in all versions of my angel deck and that won't change. Not just because she has vigilance, but because my daughter is named Seraphim so I am a bit bias about that card so don't suggest taking Serra out, it won't happen. I have serra's blessing to give vigilance to all of my creatures. Prior to the angels I have more cost effective humans such as nearheath pilgrim The thing that I did not enjoy about my current monowhite angelss was the speed. My deck was highly resilient, but it just took too long. I love aggro decks so super sloooooow does not fit my style hehe. I decided to go back to white/green for the mana ramp. I got quicksilver amulet as well to get avacyn ASAP. If for some reason I can't get my worldslayer I have nevinyrrals disk or even a nice, solid wrath of god can be thrown in. This may or may not be necessary for the combo, I have steelshaper's gift to get the worldslayer and kor outfitter if I need some help with cost. I have lots of "maybe" cards sitting around, but I know the main combo and theme of where the deck is going. So, any comments or ideas for this avacyn combo/general theme I am trying to build upon?

You are going to need mana ramping. You could splash green for it, or you could go with Sol Ring , Mana Vault , Basalt Monolith , Grim Monolith , Marble Diamond , Signets , Talismans , etc. I'd seriously go with artifact based mana ramping over splashing green.

Caged Sun
No. Caged Sun is bad. You can get the P/T boost easier, and it is ineffective as mana acceleration. You have to get to 6 mana first. At that point you are better off with another land. It is so bad that it is even questionable in EDH.

Caged Sun can be very effective in the right EDH deck.
Like I said, questionable. If you have a build that works quite well with it, great.

Tithe isn't exactly Land Tax but it's cheaper. Argivian find can be a backup in case someone doesn't like your artifacts. Cataclysm for mass removal ? Then finish with the world-killer. Wheel of Sun and Moon to get your stuff back eventually?
My decks, mostly casuals, but some I use online with some small changes:

Some really good ideas. Some of these cards I have already..some of them my husband has, hehe. We share cards, but to avoid issues like "Hey, I wanted to use that card in my deck and you grabbed it before I found it..no fair"
I dont think I want cataclysm because I don't want to sacrifice anything.
So now....I have to get that sol ring back from the friend borrowing it lol. He has had it for like 2 months already, he was supposed to borrow cards until he built his own monowhite, but now he just has 2 monowhites and keeps taking more cards. The sol ring is not mine, it is my husband's card, but as the wife I definitely have more right to it...damnit lol.
I just found some argivians last night actually.
I'll look back over this list tonight, I gotta do some paperwork right now.

If you are play standard I would recommend runninng W/G/U (I'm using Cavern of Souls) and use mana pumpers such as Avacyn Pilgram & Somberwald Sage. In one variation of my Angel deck I play with Sigard, Giesla & Avacyn and use Herald of War turn 4-5 (depending on if I need to O-Ring, Snag or Counterspell). At which point you can miracle a Blessing of Nature which gives four +1/+1 counters seperated as you deem for (F) and/or hardcast (4)(F). If you discarded a Blessing of Nature, just use Reclaim or Noxious Revival to ensure you miracle it from your graveyard. Blessing of Nature or not, every time you block or attack with Herald of War you put a +1/+1 Counter on it; reducing Angel/Human cost by (1) for each Counter put on it. I've used this strategy on table tops and my opponants never see it coming until after I have Avacyn out and they give the profound, "woa, what just happened? How do you have Avacyn out so soon!?" At which time, since the cost is so low I have equiped my Swiftfoot Boots for (1) and let Avacyn do her thing.

hmm...I never thought about putting counters on herald for the cost reduction! That just gave me some ideas.
