I'd personally drop the Aristocrat for Bloodline Keeper , I don't like to run cards for tournament standard unless I can fully utilize them. You don't have humans to sac so her ability sort of goes to waste. I'm personally a fan of markov blademaster, but a lot of people disagree with me. Possibly run some curse of stalked prey just to double to normal vamp ability.

I suggest not running b/r vampires.  There simply isn't enough synergy to justify it.

It was revealed to me in a dream.  All the cards were in my dream except for three slots which I plugged in as Vault Skirge.

FULL DISCLOSURE:  The dream was post AVR so there was a copy of Slayer's Stronghold.  I decided to keep it pre AVR in my post here.

EDIT: I just remembered.  The Skirges might have been 2x Whipflare and 1x something else, probably War and Peace.

EDIT2:  Currently 4-0 in my first four games with this.  My opponents have been very angry.  I fought off a Wurmcoil from Grixis for six turns before I found my second Dispatch.  Jeez, I can do a lot of damage.

EDIT3: Streak broken.  Lost to an unexpected Overrun.    Cracking a Shrine for 10 wasn't enough.

also, I've been playtesting this deck in my sleep today
that kinda freaked me out

Agreed. Monoblack has so much more synergy.

I'd make a few minor changes:

-1 Doom Blade
+1 Tragic Slip

You have sac outlets in the deck, and can add more to ensure that the Morbid requirement is fulfilled when you require it.

-3 Child of Night
-1 Falkenrath Exterminator

Whilst the Exterminator is a potent card, capable of turning games around on his own, without mana acceleration, and with a lot of creatures of your own to summon, two should suffice. The Child of Night can be useful, as a 2/1 Lifelink can become a 3/2 First Strike threat with Stromkirk Captain , but I think Blood Artist or Falkenrath Noble will provide you with more options. The former for quick life gain, the latter for another Flying creature in case you start taking needless damage from Delver of Secrets and the like.

Actually, I think it's because right now the softer you make your deck to Bonfire of the Damned , Vapor Snag and Gut Shot , the harder it is going to be to compete.

Is there a reason we are not running 1-2 of Vampiric Fury ? It's as good as overrun in a deck with nothing but vampires. I'd probably drop like a Despise and maybe a land for them.

His vampires should already have first strike. Overrun is bounds and leaps better than that.

Cower in Fear accomplishes the same thing. It effectively makes 3 toughness creatures unable to contend with your vampires, clears away smaller creatures and threats that override blockers like Blood Artist , and doubles up as damage reduction when played as an Instant.

Unlike Overrun , it has the added advantage of being , and thus playable
