I run werewolves as one of my favourite tribes, and I always find a burn spell or two to fire off quick-fire answers to threats is immensely
useful. You have included the Isochron, which gives you recursion by all means, but with no way to return them besides the Recollect
, and no counters (obviously), your opponent's anti-artifact spells will be virtually unstoppable.
If you wish to keep them I'd hazard a Buried Ruin
or two. Your mana base is stable enough to dilute it slightly, and whilst we're at it, if you can afford the Huntmasters at 4, I can only assume a Cavern of Souls
or two wouldn't be out of your budget or trade range?
If you want to mix up the deck a little, you could try Hunger of the Howlpack
over Wild Hunger
. If you move to more werewolves with trample anyway, or focus on getting the Moon's Rise into play quicker with Harmonize
, then the permanent boost to power might outweigh the temporary increase, as the trample is redundant. Instigator Gang
is also preferable to Mondronen Shaman
I feel. The shaman works better in control decks, or with Immerwolf
, which you can't include here otherwise Huntmaster is negated.
One final suggestion would be Descendants' Path
