Maybe Wizards decided to really tease us and put a random card from RTR in boosters and send them to different parts of the world (Willy Wonka style.)
They would've said something about it. This is likely an error.
I wouldn't put it past em (Remember how they replaced random cases of Zendikar with live bobcats to enforce the "Deadly perils" tagline?)
Man, I still remember that prerelease. It must've taken them days to clean the hall up.
In all seriousness, we of course had the one joker at our prerelease who stood up in the middle of opening the packs and screamed out "OMG!!! OMG!!! It's a Lotus !!! I've pulled freaking Lotus !!!! ... ... just kidding." Half the room wanted to punch him.
It must be a fake. The language of the reminder text is completely different from other formats. For example, it says "to populate." On keywords with similar effects, like proliferate, it just launches straight into the explanation. Look at Fuel for the Cause and compare it to the mock-up on the first page.
If it's real, it's pretty neat. I like Proliferate , but tokens generate card advantage rather than virtual advantage, so this would potentially be much more powerful than Proliferate. As for the card itself- it does replace itself and it is a combat trick, which is pretty nice (Repel the Darkness is a favorite combat trick of mine because it doesn't eat up cards.) It also allows for surprise blockers which have become more of a "thing" in this last standard season. I highly doubt this would see major constructed play, but it certainly wouldn't be a bad card to play.

But Fuel for the Cause doesn't have to explain two seperate things. Inserting "To populate" makes it clear that the first sentence refers to one ability and the second to another, whereas otherwise the whole thing could be misread as a single ability. The thing is that all the odd wording on the card makes sense as a means to clarify what it does, reduces the number of lines needed in the textbox and isn't actually inaccurate in any instance. It looks like a coherent set of changes that complement each other, not something created in a slapdash fashion.
Lovely lovely lovely! And the first leaked card has to be from Selesnya.
I really like Token-Proliferate, fits the guild very well.
RTR previews have begun! *does a little jig*
