Recently, I have been playing Magic the Gathering and just got HOOKED. I started with Red Deck Wins, but it was such a short minded strategy that I got bored with. However, I love control and couldn't get rid of red since it's my first color. So I've been play testing and I need help. Thanks for the help in advance CREATURES (6)

Except he isn't a ramp deck, does not want sources of ramp, and runs 26 lands. He will get creatures and planeswalkers out just fine. OP, a few suggestions off the top of my head. Your meta may obviously be different, but I think one of the main reasons to be running Ghost Quarter right now is to target Kessig Wolf Run , and to a lesser extent Inkmoth Nexus and Gavony Township . Wolf Run decks are a bit on the decline (and your Curses stop inkmoth at the very least already), and in grixis colors I would have to have 2 Desolate Lighthouse in their place for added card filtering. With Cavern of Souls seeing play across a lot of decks and the speed of the format in general, Mana Leak isn't quite what it once was. I might drop one of the leaks for another Think Twice or something like Phantasmal Image , since it can be quite versatile in killing a legendary (St. Traft) when you don't have a sweeper, or cloning a Strangleroot Geist for a huge amount of stall time. Scars dual lands can obviously help the manabase even more, but if you don't have them I can maybe understand not wanting to pick them up 3 months prior to rotation. Your starts will be slower but with evolving wilds you shouldn't have much issue finding all your colors. Since he is just so good, I'd try to fit a singleton Karn Liberated in there somewhere.

Agree with Freyjann: he has enough land and removal to get where he is going. Also second the Karn. I would think that Barter in Blood would be good here. I also wonder if Evolving Wilds and shimmering grotto are necessary. I would almost expect that basics would be better. You already have plenty of duals, and enough card draw to help you find land. Drawing an E wilds for your land when you really need to cast something feels pretty bad. I would keep the count to 26, but maybe go: -4 Evolving Wilds -1 Shimmering Grotto -2 Ghost Quarter (Sideboard them for relevant matches) +2 Swamp +1 Mountain +2 Island +2 Desolate Lighthouse Even a Stensia Bloodhall could be considered as an alt wincon.

Did some intense play testing. I think I came to a conclusion.
Creatures
x2 Snapcaster Mage x3 Grave Titan x1 Grisselbrand
Instants
x3 Desperate Ravings x2 Forbidden Alchemy x2 Think Twice x1 Go for the Throat x2 Doom Blade x3 Mana Leaks
Sorcery
x2 Slagstorm x3 Black Sun's Zenith x2 Despise x1 Devil's Play
Enchantment
x3 Curse of Death's Hold
Land
x3 Evolving Wilds (it's ok to thin out but late game it really ruins me if I need that land) x4 Drowned Catacombs x4 Sulfur Falls x4 Dragonskull Summit x3 Swamp x2 Island x2 Mountain x2 Ghost Quarter x2 Desolate Lighthouse (AMAZING)
Planeswalker
x1 Nicol Bolas x2 Liliana of the Veil x1 Karn of the Liberated
I really appreciate the help guys. This deck is so fun to play, and once it's around turn 6+ it's basically game due to Karn, or protecting my Grave Titans.
