Flunkies can block a second creature.

Best 1-drop goblin of all time is Goblin Lackey. For the other half of your question, look it up yourself at gatherer.wizards.com

Why create a new thread for this when you were already talking goblins in another thread?

And as for the best goblin there are only 3 one drops according to gatherer and id say fireslinger would be your best bet... but i could see spikeshot elder being really good in the right deck for it

The level of wrong in this statement. Its unbearable. Lackey is by far the best 1drop Goblin.

and I disagree. A 1/1 without haste is infinitely easier to stop than a 2/2 with haste. The object of a goblin deck is to kill the opponent as fast as possible. Ie with haste. The chances of fighting a opponent who CANT get a 1/1 down on his first (or second turn if he went first) is unbearably low and ANY creature he drops can stop the useless 1/1 from activating his ability and even if he doesn't what are you going to drop? A goblin chieftain? Oh so game breaking. Considering there are no 1 drops that can overpower the goblin guide and he has haste so its a guaranteed 2 damage if you go first, a guaranteed 2 more damage if you get a second one out on turn two or guaranteed 4 damage if you can play 2 AND you get to see what they are going to draw and plan accordingly. If they get a land, no big deal. They can only play one a turn anyway so its not like its a big advantage.
If you get 3 goblin lackeys out on turn 2 you have to have had 3 mana in your hand and even if they both get through you will run out of cards in your hand (assuming they are all creatures) and a field wiping spell will make you lose. You sir are wrong.

I believe you've never played Legacy before. Lackey that drops Siege-Gang Commander is a nice game. Goblin Guide gives card advantage. Lets people who mulligan recover because you're giving them free cards.

You are almost certainly wrong.

Ok you get a goblin lackey on the field. He MAGICALLY gets through on turn 2 and you magically happen to also have a siege commander in your hand. You drop the commander and now have 5 creatures on the field. Turn 2 you did 1 damage, turn 3 he somehow magically still doesnt have any creatures on the field because this is your magical world of everything always happens amazingly. You attack for 6 damage.

Goblin guide. You magically have 4 in your hand since this is the world of magic and dreams. You play 1 on turn one, he does 2 damage. You play 2 on turn 2. You do 6 total damage. You play 2 more on turn 3 and you've done a total of 14 total damage, which is much more damage than the "perfect" outcome you created in your mind.

The difference, goblin guide is stronger or equally as strong as his 1 drop. Goblin lackey is not. Goblin guides attack as they come out. The opponent sees goblin lackey and knows he has to put a creature out and deal with it before he attacks. My fantasy is much more common than yours.

You're wrong. See what I did there? I took your pointless statement and I used it against you. Provide me with facts that I'm wrong because I've provided you with facts that you're wrong.
