One combo I noticed with the Pod was to sac Academy Rector for Stuffy Doll , then via the Rector's ability still on stack, drop Guilty Conscience onto Stuffy Doll for that "infinite" loop win combo.

When you sac the rector to the pod you place the search for the creature ability on the stack. Then you put the triggered ability of the rector onto the stack. You'll have to search for the enchantment before you search for the stuffy doll.

Also, Nim Deathmantle  plays well with pod and the altar. You can gain infinite life with the thragtusk, or play wurmcoil engine for infinite mana and/or infinite tokens.

When playing Commander, before you add a card to your deck, you have to ask yourself:
"Is this card better than Rings ?"
If you play commander and don't have your deck[s] in the Decklist Compendium, maybe you should. Or if you're new or looking into the format, the compendium has some good advice for beginners as well as decklists.

so I guess there isn't a way via Pod to do such a trick with the Doll/Rector or any other 5CMC creature in place of the Doll, right?

Your free to pod them up, but podding the rector for stuffy doll with guilty conscience enchanting it isn't a linear progression that work, which severly impacts the playability of guilty conscience I think.

well, thankfully I have other options for Guilty Conscience: either just playing it normally or at a discount (); or let Sovereigns of Lost Alara give Stuffy Doll a Guilty Conscience when makes an exalted attack. haha

Also, I replaced Mimic Vat with Birthing Pod and Akroma's Memorial with Thragtusk since I could see anything else I could stand to take out. However, I still would like to have Ashnod's Altar and now Nim Deathmantle included too due to such good synergy. Any suggestions on what I could do without?

The 5 planeswalkers all have a purpose; Pariah/Guilty Conscience are obvously for Stuffy Doll mainly, but have helped me when put on other opponent creatures; Temporal Mastery is...well Temporal Mastery, getting an extra turn never hurts; Doubling Season for the PW "Drop & Pop" trick ; etc.

The piper, the heirarch and the soulbound paladin might be candidates for cutting.

not really imo. Elvish Piper helps drops fatties early/cheaply (obviously); Noble Heirarch is an early exalted source + mana dork; and Silverblade Paladin is another way to give double-strike to something if I don't have/can't afford to cast Rafiq. This is also good because the Paladin and his soulmate will have double-strike when blocking unlike the purely offensive double-strike exalted bonus from Rafiq.

I agree that silverblade paladin and elvish piper are weaker ones in your deck.

I've found that I have the most fun with rafiq when I can go turn 1 manadork, turn 2 combat damage guy, and then turn 3 rafiq with an attack.

I think running all the 1 drop mana dorks is great with rafiq (even the bad ones)
Avacyn's Pilgrim
Arbor Elf
Llanowar Elves
Fyndhorn Elves
Boreal Druid
Birds of Paradise
Noble Hierarch
Green Sun's Zenith + Dryad Arbor

And the three-drop category is rich in guys who love double strike
Augury Adept
Ohran Viper
Thada Adel, Acquisitor
Cold-eyed Selkie (This one is quite ridiculous)
Cephalid Constable (Maybe unfun if you lock your opponents out with it though)
Trygon Predator
Avenging Druid

I have found the secret of posting sigs!

I've decided to make my Rafiq a more mid-range/combo type deck and not really your typical, run-of-the-mill Rafiq deck (or at least my idea of a typical Rafiq deck) focusing only on exalted, drop Rafiq quick/early, and swing with huge exalted pump to one-shot (maybe 2-shot at most) people. Where is the fun in that? EDH is casual thus my deck idea is just for fun shenanigans/combos in Bant colors which I like . A lot of these center around ETB effects. Some games I've never cast Rafiq or have no/very few exalted effects in play and still did ok. From my experience, when people see a Rafiq deck, they have a pre-conceived idea of what to expect from it, which has helped me a lot since this deck isn't that. At least until they get used to it of course.

My new idea is to somehow fit Deathtouch in somehow beyond just Acidic Slime in a fun way. I was thinking of somehow fitting Hornet Queen for more flying defense, mana ramp is a sense with Ashnod's Altar , ETB fun with Deadeye Navigator & Conjurer's Closet , etc. Another is Nightshade Peddler basically to just give deathtouch to other creatures that wouldn't have it and of course have him mingle/socialize ( haha)with my other creatures with Deadeye Navigator & Conjurer's Closet . I'm just unsure what to take out as usual with EDH.

EDIT: in case anyone is ponder ing about Tunnel Vision, I've had Spell Crumple in the deck for a while and got a few copies of Banishing Stroke in a trade recently, thus I figured I give that admittedly mean tuck/mill-to-tucked-card combo a try just for that // reactions at table, which is why I threw in Terminus as well. Wouldn't ya know, the first time that card is played, it was from a Mindslaver effect in a 2HG game, thus opponent controled our team's turn. Teammate and I had a game-win level boardstate, but he was made to cast a boardwipe and I only had Tunnel Vision in hand and had just played the first and only blue mana source the prior turn. Thus I was made to cast it and target my own library. Opponent named Top , which is a staple in our playgroup, and milling about 75-80 cards leading to our team scooping! HAHAHA. Karma is definitely a b!itch. This is why Ulamog was put into the deck!
