I'm going to steal your idea and change my G/U/b self-mill into this G/b/u. It has a terrible curve (there is no curve haha) and it could mill harder, but I'm going to build it like this and see how it plays: 4 x Viridian Emissary 4 x Ambush Viper 4 x Deadly Recluse 4 x Blood Artist 4 x Splinterfright 1 x Thragtusk 2 x Kessig Cagebreakers 1 x Rancor 3 x Go for the Throat 3 x Mulch 3 x Tracker's Instincts 1 x Gnaw to the Bone 4 x Spider Spawning 4 x Woodland Cemetery 2 x Hinterland Harbor 10 x Forest 6 x Swamp It might need a few more larger creatures. 2 Witchbane Orb and 2 Dismember are definite sideboard. A few Nihil Spellbomb or Tormod's Crypt as well for Delver matchups. Not sure about the rest. Still thinking about where to fit Ghoultree and Rancor . I think a Killing Wave could be useful. Revenge of the Hunted would be cute with deathtouch.

I created a deck similar to this, Skirsdag High Priest and Deadly Allure would both be great additions. Deadly allure helps take care of hexproof creatures and it has flashback.

Splinterfright is this decks best friend I have no idea why you wouldn't want to include it... if you mill a spawing then great now you can flash it back and draw something else useful or better yet you mill creatures until you get to you spider spawnings and then draw them

I didn't think about the flash back. True, if I mill a spawner I could always bring it back. I will add it then. I thought of deadly allure and I might actually add it. I just need to play test this to see what it really needs.

I played the list i posted above, did so much better than i thought it would. 2-1 against a very good mono white aggro deck, first strike was really hard for the small creatures to deal with. Ended up -1 Rancor , +1 Killing Wave . Had a huge OMG moment when opponent was at 6 life, i had 2 Blood Artist out and 7 Spider tokens. Opponent had out 4 creatures and couldn't do anything. I played Killing Wave for 1. I had heard about Blood Artist decks, but i had no idea just how crazy he can be. Very fun to play, but very reliant on stalling as long as possible...something our good friend Thragtusk is a champ at! I would like to work more in. Also think that Vault Skirge would make a good sideboard candidate, but i'd probably want to put a Rancor on him. edit: Actually, i think Vault Skirge should probably be main boarded, since it would give me a possible 1st turn play and lifelink. No idea what i'll be taking out tho...

Noxious Revival is a good utility card that I run in similar decks to this. It allows you to reclaim Spider Spawning to play again, before you exile it through Flashback. Similar story for Gnaw to the Bone and Grim Flowering .

Hold on, I've got a deck built around splinterfright and Ghoultree and all that graveyard shenanigans also, and am obviously concerned for tormod and his crypt... So Witchbane Orb deals with that?
I want to be Cultured.
