So lets say I cast primal surge  and put the following cards in play: Primevil Titan  2 Ob Nixilis, the Fallen  2 Swamps  Once these hit the battlefield, would I be able to use the Titan's ability first to find 2 lands and then trigger the Fallen's abilities before they both die? (legend rule)

No. The legend rule will kill them first. During primal surge's resolution, you put the 5 permanents onto the battlefield. This triggers at least one ability -- primeval titan  's ability -- and depending on the order the cards entered the battlefield, up to 4 additional triggered abilities for the Ob Nixilises (Ob Nixili?). Next, primal surge finishes resolving and goes to your graveyard. Next, the game checks state-based actions and kills the duplicate legends. Next, you put triggered abilities on the stack in whatever order you prefer.

No. The Ob's will die as a state-based action before long before any triggered abilities will resolve. (The two swamps you put out during the Surge will each trigger each Ob if they came into play after the creature, though, aso your opponent will still lose the life).

in an ideal case, yes
if the 2 swamps came after the 2 ob nixilis they lose 12 life
if the 2 swamps came before both ob nixilis they lose no life

The key thing to notice is that Primal Surge  puts each permanent onto the battlefield seperately. You can get anywhere form 0 to 4 triggers depending on when each thing was revealed and put onto the battlefield. Just keep in mind that, when each Swamp is put onto the battlefield, each Ob Nixilis that has been put there previously will trigger.

sweet, this is great info to know! Thank you so much you guys! I'm thinking of building some type of Primal Surge/Genesis Wave Deck for modern so it's good to know this ruling before I build the deck.

if you find 2 Ob Nixilis and 2 Swamps with Genesis Wave  they will always lose 12 damage (unless for some reason you want them to lose less, since the trigger is optional)
