A Journey to Nowhere variant. I wanted to tack Cloudshift utility into it, too. I'm not sure I got the cost right, what do you think?

When ~ enters the battlefield, exile target creature.
When ~ leaves the battlefield, return that creature to the battlefield under its owner's control.

You do realize that with 6 or more mana open this turns into Swords to Plowshares with buyback, right?

I would cost it to cast, since it is arguably worse than journey to nowhere.  I would make it cost to return to your hand, so that opponenets need to fight to keep it off the board.  And you could make the actuivated ability sorcery speed if you wanted to avoud stacking triggers.

and to add to that last post, I would make the activated ability cost white, or , or maybe even , to add flavor (only white mages can manipulate the aura).
