Well, Magic has five colors that have full status as colors.

There's colorless, which could be counted as a sixth color.

There's pink, which was mentioned on one Un-Card , as I learned from someone else's post on this thread.

I'm not sure how one gets from seven to eight, but...

Then there are ten types of hybrid mana, plus five more of the form color or two colorless, and then five colors of Phyrexian mana.

And, of course, there's also snow mana. So I suppose one could say that Magic has 56 colors of mana... but I think that "five" is a more accurate reflection of the current situation. There are five colors, but they come in various combinations.

If you're going Un-, you may as well mention Avatar of Me . The number of colors in Un-Magic is entirely dependent on how descriptive you want to be with your eye color. Hazel is my favorite Magic color.
